I recently found this skyline here. And I went to the bank to get a loan. The girl basically put her pen down when I said I was 17.

Do cars like these come up often?

If I were in the market in three months, could I expect to find something along the lines of this thing?

This is my first post to; so hello Skylines Australia :] I read the article in Imports, there are some nice Skylines on this board.

Firstly welcome.

Secondly yeah you should be able to find a GT in a few months. They're not as common as falcadores but it's not like they're really hard to find.

Good luck!

Excellent!

Just what I think I needed to hear!

If you want to find some around that price with even lower Km's you should keep an eye on Nagoya Motors, that is if your in the Sydney area.

I recently placed a deposit on a skyline just like yours with 91,800KM's on the clock, and it was only $12,900.

They are constantly importing P plate legal R34's and the ones at the $14,900 mark generally have closer to 50,000KM's on them.

From what I hear around this site, Nagoya Motors is generally trusted as not rewinding odometers, anyone who thinks otherwise let me know.

Not always the dealer that do the rewinding, 10-12 year old car (that is likely to be used as a daily in jap land, not llike a NUR GTR) with 50,000km? rarely.

I see what you mean silver, but they do have some very good quality cars, in great condition at Nagoya Motors, I've seen a whole bunch as i've been flying in and out of the place over the last year while I was looking for a good R34. I've also heard around the forum people saying, base your purchase on condition, not KM's, so even if the KM's arent as low as stated, im pretty sure they aren't far off, or have been maintained very well.

All P platers looking for a skyline should take a look at their online showroom, I wont post up a link cause im not too sure about the rules on external linking on SAU, And im not advertising, I REALLY dont have any association with Nagoya Motors other than as a customer =P

Yeah and if your going by the Odometer you will have to fork out for a 100k service in under 10k.. So your first service is going to be $$$$

^^^ Correct, so if you're buying from a dealer; and before you hand over your hard-earned $$, secure a deal from them that the $100kKm service is included in the price - especially obtainable near the end of a calendar month.

    • Order for the 2025 model R35 GT-R were accepted from 3rd March and 26th August the last order rolled off the production line at the Tochigi plant. Concerning the R35 GT-R replacement, current Nissan CEO Ivan Espinosa said "Nothing has been decided about the GT-R at this time, but we are well aware that everyone is waiting. The GT-R will evolve and reappear in the future. Please be patient until that day comes." Nissan has a lot of issues with management and finances so take Espinosa's words with a big grain of salt. From what discussions I've had and read about here in Japan, not a lot of people are confident about Nissan's future, let alone the next GT-R.
    • Thanks. We getting some parts along too so he will be solving the speed issue like next week so i will let you know what he came up with.
    • 21 is explicitly the coils detected as the issue. Is it guaranteed the actual issue? No. Just the ECU thinks it is. When you say rattling, describe it better, get an audio clip as best you can if possible.
    • Yea got me coppers. Bad news is I just put them in and the car still has the light and shakes. I also noticed I hear like rattling coming from the exhaust piping right under me. Does 21 also have a possibility of being O2 sensors?   So, coil packs are good, the harness is good, the MAF is working, and obviously the spark plugs just replaced and working.
    • Make sure you drop the GTT base tune back in, and set your injectors again, this will remove anything playing up with it you may have removed. Possibly lean there as it's normally a fast transient going THROUGH atmospheric pressure, and a turbo motor would then quickly go richer as boost builds. The only worry you MIGHT have is ignition timing, as the DE is higher compression than the DET from memory. But again, you're not in boost, so the DE motor will be a lot more forgiving at atmospheric.   Get Murray, Kinkstahs, and Johnny's input on tuning haltechs, those guys have played with tuning enough in the past to be able to help now you're past the trouble shooting stage of the MAP issue
