How are the N1 skirts different to just the usual R32 GT-R ones? Or are they the only factory option skirts that came on R32 GT-R's?

Edited by -Jimmy-

yer, i'm pretty sure they're the only other factory gtr side skirt, the standard ones only go on the underside of the car, were as the N1 ones go from the front allong the sides and onto the rear panels and follow the body lines.. plus they sit lower to the ground making it look lower....

You're right about the grey one having standard skirts. They are 2pc.

And the ones on the blue car look aftermarket to me.

I was fairly certain these were the N1 skirts if anything (see how it lips down at the back of the skirt)

The blue ones you pictured look like TRUST Aero parts.

Here's a set on Yahoo Japanese Auctions.

Here's the pods that should go with the skirts made by TRUST in the Gracer aero parts range.

However there is a sideskirt which is made that is kind of in between the two that I pictured made by Bodyform and they call it the 'N1 style sideskirt'.

The genuine N1 skirts look 3pc to me, where-as the Bodyform one looks 1pc.

If you want these particular skirts then you are in luck because looks like they're in Australia. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a genuine set of the N1 parts, or even the genuine TRUST items here in Australia.

^^ Good post there Jimmy!

But it is actually called the Nismo Sideskirt / Bodykit as opposed to N1.

The kit you posted under N1 was released on the R32 GTR Nismo Editions.

R32 GTR N1's may or maynot have came out with the Nismo Kit.

:D

aah, ok, thanks for the info guys,

i didnt think the blue car pic i posted was the exact N1 item, it was just the closest pic i had, but that is the type of style im chasing ...

those trust skirts look awesome.....

so i'll have a look where u suggested for some thanks...

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
