Swiper the Fox
I'm going to assume we are still talking about cars :|but that sounds like a fair swap - you can take my tow car for a drive and I can make sure your gtr works ok. whats that in metric? don't you guys have that yet?? i love how much more easily the 3l make solid useable power. 3.4l will be the next big trend. there is indeed no substitute for cubes The 3.* litre full counter jobbie i have in the pipeline may finally get the nod of approval from you big cube boffin's then. No forklift block required though. * > Insert number between 1 and 4 Edited March 17, 2010 by Swiper the Fox Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/311293-ive-joined-the-forklift-club/page/3/#findComment-5138402 Share on other sites

N1GTR
The forklift club/RB's in general have got an interesting few months ahead. I wish I was more useful! Sorry everyone, i'll try harder! Its funny how similar the Nitto 3.2 kit is to the JUN 2JZGTE 3.2 kit. Duncan, 470hp at the treads is close enough to 346kw. To be exact, 345.92kw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/311293-ive-joined-the-forklift-club/page/3/#findComment-5138472 Share on other sites
Marko R1
you will have to ask Mrs Line that question as ive already ran it past Noel and he insisted a gentleman never speaks.Oh you were refering to my car...sorry... it was at idle with the choke pulled out about 3/4 of the way. Completely off topic here, yrs ago my mates cortina was broken into and all looked ok until he started it and was stuck on fuLl revs, choke was in the back seat Fineline - can't wait to see the full boost results as well Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/311293-ive-joined-the-forklift-club/page/3/#findComment-5138598 Share on other sites

I thought it very funny how the pics of the rods you posted up and now are gone...they look exactly like something ive seen before. See you can be our resident imperial to metric converter. Very useful indeed! Just winding you up bud...you seem to enjoy doing it to others. Yes it will be very interesting with all the new developments in tang length etc. Edited March 17, 2010 by Swiper the Fox Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/311293-ive-joined-the-forklift-club/page/3/#findComment-5138617 Share on other sites
Scooby
it was at idle with the choke pulled out about 3/4 of the way. confirm it was actually the choke cable you pulled out? anyway having a big bottom end for your forklift is no good if you can't find a warehouse large enough to accomodate it. Bunta
Stevo is using the hp X .735 = kw conversion rate...the more commonly accepted one is .746 so he isnt even useful as the converter guy <3 you stheeeeb Good results Noel! Cant wait to finally be able to go for a drive with you....I think the last time must be best part of 3 years ago! FineLine
Screamer pipes sound like dog shit. The forklift engine pulls hard down low but the little 25 would wipe the floor with it up high. Will wind the wick up in the near future and see what the highly technical placebo dyno has to say. Haha, that's funny, the rods are not copies of anything, just like the crank and pistons they're made from scratch. Nice to know you agree witthat that Nitto are Jun replicas though That's the second time she's complained about it. Don't worry the sense of humor isn't going anywhere Assembly isn't too far off, the place doing it have built some monsters, you'll be able to tell who aswel. I'm sure it *can* be done.....but should it? my forklift was doing its job so well the RTA told me it cant come out of the shed to stack things without a full engineers report that sucks....hope you don't have to do full emissions test as well Haha yeah I usually use the .746 but I was lazy and used the iPhone conversion tool omg they have an app for that???? Screamer pipes sound like dog shit. That's wierd.....i guess the rb30 might run out of puff up high but it should still flow the same air/make the same power, just at lower revs? Not much point calling these a forklift block...rb30 was by miles the biggest selling rb motor...they are very well proven BTW is this going to become one of those threads I have to lock and hand out warnings? Jun auto has been long regarded as the finest machine parts for the Japanese tuning scene for years. If you were going to produce the finest parts you would take what is regarded as the best...and improve it. Nitto have done just this...it makes excellent business sense. Find the best of each product (whoever the manufacturer may be) and see how it could be re-engineered to be better. This is precisely how all the Japanses tuning shops do this using the original Nissan parts. If you have actually seen in person the Nitto product, actually compared them to Jun and most importantly understand where each products strengths and weaknesses lie, you would always chose the Nitto item. Go and see for yourself...ill be there on Saturday and are quite prepared to allow some time to show you a few things. It was tuned about 50 hp harder as well. I guess I was simply expecting more of the extra cubes given the hype.
