Ok so as the title of the thread states, this is all about my new buddy from Africa that has selected ME to be his international mule for depositing 10.5 million US dollars into my account! WOW I'm so excited! hahahahaha

Anyway, I normally delete this shit but this time I thought i'd play a little game with him. Here's the email from him and my reply I have sent. I will see what he does next and go from there, but if anyone has any ideas of how we can get this guy to look like the biggest tool in the world let me know!.... Getting him to provide pictures of him doing things is where I think I am going with this :D

Hello Mr Madawi Atassi,

I am quite pleased that you have selected ME to be your foreigner to deposit this money into my account however I am a little perplexed, at the start of your email you said you would deposit 1.5 million USD into my account and then follow that up with the remaining 9 million, then at the end of the email you say I will only be getting 40% of that by my calculations that is only 4.2 million USD and I seriously doubt that the expenses will be 1.5 million dollars! but fair enough, you are the expert.

Can you also send me a photo of you at your bank with your name plate and something that shows the date of the photo so that I can confirm that this is a real email. I have answered an email from a bank overseas before and set up the account and lost quite a bit of money after it was all done. It turns out this guy wasn't from a bank at all! Can you believe the nerve of some people! I require the item showing the date so that I know you have not got an old photo of when you used to work at the bank and also require the name plate so that I can confirm it's actually you. Also I would like to see a photo of the bank with it's name showing so that I can confirm that you are from a real bank and not a made up one.

Once I get all of this we can start the ball rolling. I don't think it's too much to ask considering the amount of work I will need to do.

Thankyou once again for selecting me out of all the millions of people around the world, I feel quite excited!

Ali Bo

Ask them to throw in shares of hose clamps for me?

Pretty please?

Also ask your new buddy to take some photos of his computer, always wondering what sort of computer they get.

I think you played him far to hard in your first email.

You've gotta act more stupid to hook the fish ;)

Well he obviously gets his kawk out doesn't he?

You think.... we will see, If I scared him off he aint that desperate but there will be more no doubt.

hahaha man since i put car for sale on carsales/any other advertising site. the amount of bs emails i get from [email protected] n shit.. so funny i replied too all these different ones its hilarious so far ive spoken to 3 marine biologists/analysis who are from china/taiwan and the latest one the pacific coast, 1 doctor and one i got earlier before from a housewife who wants to offer me 3 times the amount of my car!!! what a bargain.!! i played around with first 2 then got bored and instantly just trolled the other ones lol.. so many times i wanted to scam them and send them like a hot wheels car but cbf too much effort lol.

you may find by just replying you are giving information away

the script will be looking at the grammer, content, word, para-phrases etc and categorising all of these

it is likely to do this to 100's of 1000's of people to essentially 'fingerprint' human style respones

    • You will now be able to lift the parcel shelf trim enough to get to the shock cover bolts; if you need to full remove the parcel shelf trim for some reason you also remove the escutcheons around the rear seat release and you will have to unplug the high stop light wiring from the boot. Next up is removal of the bracket; 6 nuts and a bolt Good news, you've finally got to the strut top! Remove the dust cover and the 3 shock mount nuts (perhaps leave 1 on lightly for now....) Same on the other side, but easier now you've done it all before
    • OK, so a bunch of trim needs to come off to get to the rear shock top mounts. Once the seat is out of the way, the plastic trim needs to come off. Remove 2 clips at the top then slide the trim towards the centre of the car to clear the lower clip Next you need to be able to lift the parcel shelf, which means you need to remove the mid dark trim around the door, and then the upper light trim above the parcel shelf. The mid trim has a clip in the middle to remove first, then lift the lowest trim off the top of the mid trim (unclips). At the top there is a hidden clip on the inner side to release first by pulling inwards, then the main clip releases by pulling the top towards the front of the car. The door seal comes off with the trim, just put them aside. The the lighter upper trim, this is easy to break to top clips so take it carefully. There is a hidden clip towards the bottom and another in the middle to release first by pulling inwards. Once they are out, there are 3 clips along the rear windscreen side of the panel that are hard to get under. This is what the rear of the panel looks like to assist:
    • Yes. Autos typically work from the speed sensor on the pinion shaft of the diff. I also think that even if you have a proper speed sensor for the bog manual in the manual box, that the signal it outputs is not compatible with the auto dash anyway. You should consult that manual (the book, not the gearbox).
    • And I just realised that that advice is slightly nonsensical for a GTR, because you need 2 of them. But it is otherwise true.
    • Having had a reasonable look at the car, I'll be able to remove the (one time) rams and retract the hinge (they are held in the down location by a tiny (m3?) sacrificial screw) which will get it physically back in shape. From there if you remove the rams you need a resistor to turn off the airbag light (as Mark said, there are plug in kits and I might go that way because its reversible). And...per all the threads on here, even if you have the resistors to turn off the airbag light, the bonnet light will stay on as it writes to the airbag computer history - that is either replace the airbag controller, reprogam the EPROM (if I can work out how), or remove the globe from the dash. Having seen how sensitive this system is, if I had my time over I'd pre-emptively remove the rams, even on a road car, because this is all a very unnecessary pain in the arse. Reminds me, time to go and have a look at the Fuga too....
