Fitting Gtr Cams To A Rb25det Neo, Swapping Motor And Parts

My old motor has finally failed so swapping all the after market parts onto the new one.

The old motor is a rb25det neo out of the r34 and its had gtr cams fitted and a few other mods that made it fun on the track:) the vct has been disconnected.

I have a replacement motor just need to know if there is anything i have to do to the new motor so the gtr cams work? like disconnect the vct.

I'm going to get a nistune once its running to make sure it's all running sweet

Why not leave the factory cams and save some time and money that can go towards a known upgrade?

agreed... keep the stock cams, and change the VCT change over points on the dyno on nistune til you get a gain. would be better over all then GTR cams.

Then when you save some money go the 260 Poncams as the Neo camshafts are extremely mild. Don't bother with the standard GT-R stuff.
