Speak to Tim @ www.horsepowerinabox.com

He also does extremely good deals on garret turbo's, you will need to email him to get the best current price.

I would have to say he is one of THE best tuners in AUS.

I guess thats why his tallents are not only used in AUS but overseas as well.

MrPrez,

how are things going with your GT30 turbo setup?

fyi, i am also in the middle of mucking around with a 600hp Garrett GT30 (700177-0014

core) which i bought off a friend (turbo was meant for someone else) for my cossie 2L.

After the initial tests, i wasn't very happy with it (due to small exhaust housing - A/R .48) as we were getting heaps of back pressure in the exhaust housing which was killing power up top, although the mid-range looked nice.

given this, we're now waiting on the A/R .82 housing, so i'll let u know how i go.

i'll be interested to see how you go with your GT30 (A/R .63) on a 2L.

cheers, RS500

HELLO everyone... Sorry for the (Bloody) delay...

Latest news .. the car is almost there..

The manifold is done, wastegate and turbo is on.. injectors , cooler and all that are one.. just waiting for the oil line and compeleting the dump pipe.. and finally the tunning of it..

Im really sorry for the LLOOONNGGG delay which im bit pissed off too.. yhh well it happens he is too busy.

- ROY - Im running EMS + bosch 600hp fuel pump. Coz vince only install that brand.

- RS500 - Things are going pretty good so far. there was a problem with the manifold which he had to cut the flang and re-do it :D. that was yesterday.. but im looking forward to it..

Guys HOPEFULY "Tommorrow" i'll get the car.. --WITH GOD WILLING--

OK guys so ill let you all know after such a long wait...

By the way the exchanged parts will be for sale to sydney buyers soon(sorry interstate guys:( ).

So stay tuned...

looking at round 380 at autobarn (brisbane) for coil packs...........

.. oh thats EACH!!!! bugger that.. find some ones that work second hand.

It would work out better to get your self an ECU that can handle different coils then get your self a VN coil pack $100 (for 6) then a modulator $175..

    • UPDATE: Yes the GSP Axles are compatible. I installed it on my R34 today and they are working a treat! Turns out that the S13, S14, S15, and 200 SX all used the same axles as the HR34, and ER34 NA models. Which is 2 bolt x 3 pairs.
    • Also build this EH ute with 370z motor and gearbox with a couple of turbos just for fun.
    • Got the passenger door on plus the master cylinder and booster. Loaded up to take it home. At home, the colour changes a lot in the light.
    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
