I wasnt going to tell you all...

wouldnt mods void your warranty as well?

Not the factory Works upgrade. but at around $7K, brings the Cooper S, into STi range.. Hp goes up to around 210Hp...

Your other option according to your criteria, is the Alfa GTV 146... I reckon you'll find em close to th 50K mark, even less for desperate.... Now that Aussie knowhow.. donk the biggest motor in the smallest thing youcan find. Only if they made the 4wd drive version

Firstly;

Gay-MD.jpg

The only car mentioned in that entire book is 'MINI COOPER S'

lol, seriously though, if its what you want to do then go for it BUT;

Keed in mind that buying it new and that it doesnt appeal to many people the depreciation will be awful...

ALso keep in mind that they are gay.

That is all.

lol jk.

lmao

actually due to the fact its more a nostelgic type of car it wont depreciate a hell of a lot over 5 years in comparison to buying a GTR or a daewoo :(

homophobe :D

same as the daewoo... indicators on the left :D

and the mini is still faster to 100 and down the qtr and with mods will get more power out of it than the NA...

i take that back...

i thought they were 0-100 in 7.8

its actually 7.4 same as the mini

0-400m however neither of them state.

guess it will come down to which one impresses me more when i test drive it.

Why has no-one really come out with the :flamed:

Nark... man. as others have said... GAYNESS.

and im not joking. You want power... your want forced induction...

A mini with a mini blower is going to go no-where, maybe backwards.

good thing you did tell us all... so we can bust-yo-ass-fo-bein-stoopid!

in dunno... i have SO many defamatory words and insults for you now that i dont know where to start. :thumbdwn:

DOWN WITH THE FWD :talk2hand

:talk2hand

:talk2hand

I'll still give you a ride in a mans car once in a while.

but it's gonna cost you for being so gay :D

:( :zap:

rofl u tard.

i dont want a street machine... i want a nice daily driver that i wont be hassled by cops for retarded things like H patterns and Tyre freakin weights and whatever other bs they want to come up with. I want something where i can get insurance at more than 2 places which dont charge u thru the arse.

this is a temp thing for 5 years minimum until i import an R34 GTR from NZ.

nark, don't be sucked in by a new car.. while they all seem and good the "savings" you are talking about will easily be over-ridden by the expenses - the "scheduled servicing" at a mini dealer to maintain your warranty, the insurance, and most of all the depreciation. Get something 2-3 years old with a 2ndary warranty, much more sensible option. I doubt parts will be either cheap or easy to obtain either.

Minis are WAY over rated.

Definitely! One of the most overrated cars ever if you ask me. What is the big deal? They're overpriced buzz boxes and just "trying" a little too hard in every department.

lol at inasnt, RiggaP, smooth, and pushead's comments - right on the ball :( Hey we're only a small minority too, what is the general public gonna think of you as this tall lanky guy steps out of a mini :D Better get the mini-skirt to match the car, don't want a clash there.

Actually, time paint your 32 pink i think.. hehe

CooperS 0 - 100km/h 7.4 seconds

Hence when i had a run against one it looked like he was standing still at the lights. He actually seemed shocked at this too, next set of lights wouldn't make eye contact :D See that will be *you* nark if u get a mini.

God, you can't let cop hassles turn you off driving a car.. thats the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
