Oh they have a 45mm again?

Last time i checked (admittadly a while ago) they stopped making the 45mm ones and went to 48mm or something like that.

Going back 6 yrs now mine was a 45mm progate - so the 45mm item should be perfectly fine

Make sure you get extra springs.

I remember when mine came it only had a 10psi spring combo in the box

I needed to get extra springs ordered in to get it holding 16-17psi consistently

Given you want the gate to set as close to the desired boost as possible etc. Less change of gate creep which i had using a 7psi spring (and trying to run 17psi lol).

Soon as the springs were changed out it was all spot on.

Turbosmart 48mm would be a good choice, or anything around the 45-48mm marker.

Same as what i ran with a GT3040 (550-600hp)

Out of curiosity what did you make RWKW from that setup

270rwkw @ 16-17psi

369rwkw @ 24psi (sunoco104, i could run approx 8-10 degrees extra timing across the entire map, venting gate etc)

The 3" exhaust i had @ the time was terrible and holding it back on PULP with the gate plumbed in as well :/

Wish i had the exhaust i have now. Would have seen around 300-320rwkw on 20-22psi, perhaps even a tad more as it made 250rwkw @ 1bar.

Given we have E85 around, you could probably add another 40rwkw to whatever figure as well. Would have been interesting

Nice, definitely interesting results.

Although I am far from an E85 fan boy, but I am one of few and as we know majority rules  So ill can it right the

Similar to you, exhaust is my current dilemma. I dont want to change away from what I have although have intention to lean as hard as I can on a fairly basic setup. I want to set a reference point for the turbo really.. Unit is an off the shelf 3037, .87 rear, 80mm surge cover.

I see you refer to your results often, although have been yet to find them in the dyno threads. Thanks for sharing.

Never got a chance to upload the 369rwkw run as that was from Autosalon & never got a print out (you can see it on youtube tho)

The 270rwkw run i think i have a sheet for somewhere. I'll have a look. Was what... 5yrs ago now so not entirely sure!

Sorry for hijackings :/

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
