haha you guys really are a bunch of idiots arnt you?

for one i never said anyone was wrong. please do tell me where i wrote " no your wrong" somewhere. thanks.

secondly i asked a question and only 1 person kindly advised me to go to the tuner. there are a few other people that suggested problems for why my car wont go faster and thanks for that.

thirdly this trozzle guy sounds pretty old and i personally find it funny that he gives me sh*t for loosing traction for 3 seconds. why do you own a skyline? owning a 2.5 litre turbo rwd just to go fast in it? i dont think so. go and buy something thats been made to go fast. i guarantee you have done a lot more skids on the street then i have or you would own a 4wd turbo.

the amount of arguing that goes on for no reason is insane, just like someone already has kindly pointed out to everyone. the questions ive asked havnt been stupid questions. someone please point out the stupid questions for everyone.

Just turned 22 the other week.

I'm not gonna lie and say I've not done skids on the street.

I am however not stupid enough to get seen doing it. Especially by police.

I purchased my Skyline because I got to drive my mate's around for a few days, and absolutely loved it. There was no way I could afford a GTR though. Didn't buy it to do skids, bought it for the power and glamour. Now it's my daily until I get it built and buy a shitheap to get to work, at which point it becomes a rego'd track car.

Time and place. Right now is the wrong time and place for you to be calling the shots. It's the internet, expect to be flamed. You look like more of an idiot when you get all hyped up defending yourself.

Oh and last off, look up "troll" or "trolling", and you might understand why I'll tell you I'm rather full now. You fed me quite the feast good sir.

Thanks for the entertainment :rofl2:

you have no idea that you wont get caught doing a skid. saying your not stupid enough to get caught is just showing your ignorance just like through this entire thread. a mufti police car about 4 or 5 cars behind saw the skid. and didnt pull the car up. only came around later that night and asked who was driving the car.

one day it will happen to you when you least expect it, like my situation.

and a skyline is about the slowest car you could buy to go fast. a gtr would be excusable but when other cars in the skylines category come into play like the wrx evo 1jz supra then the skyline is the slowest out of all of them. yes the skyline has a pure sound and does look good so il give you that.

but anyway no one has givin me any ACTUAL reason for why im coping flack on here. and what do you mean by calling the shots?

but anyway no one has givin me any ACTUAL reason for why im coping flack on here.

Because theres almost 3 pages of people giving you advice and you flat out ignoring them, you come across as immature, that along with the way you type entices people to do so. Sorry if that sounds rude but that is the way I see it.

LOL you're still a fking moron. Read half my post then spout a fountain of poopity back at me.

It's easy to know you're not going to get seen - do it where there quite literally isn't anyone to see you. I'm not stupid enough to do it with anyone around, nor am I stupid enough to do it where there's a chance someone might be.

Hell, I don't even do it enough to warrant me telling you this.

Also, what Rolls said. The only posts you've paid any attention to are the ones pointing out you're a moron.

hey guys i couldnt be f**ked reading this whole thred so it might have been answered. im not even going to read the argument going on here..

but what i can add is some good advise that maybe u can try and all it will cost you is a can of coke!

i had the same problem when i installed my RB25 S1 into my R32 skyline.. i used a turbotech Boost T to turn up the boost, only to find it wouldnt go over 10 PSI, it would just fart and carry on over 5,500RPM.

you said everything eles was stock right?

out of curiosity, i pulled the Standard blow off-Valve off to see if was leaking causing the issue. i put my mouth up to the valve and i could blow air right through it.. (imagine how much was going through at 10psi)?

The fix:

I cut a coke can into the shape of the Gasket, and with some sealant i placed the new coke can gasket infront of the blow off valve, tighten her up and went for a drive.

the boost hit 20PSI followed by fuel cut! wow i thought!

pulled over turned the boost down at the turbotech T. then went for a drive again. it now makes a Crisp clean and sold 13PSI (any more and i hit fuel cut)

this fix made my car alot faster and acceleration is 10x's better, with a mad flutter =)

hope this helps you!

    • Hey everyone, I recently bought myself a 2001 Nissan Stegea M35, and I've had a few issues that I had to fix, my car would start intermittently and I had a bad rocker cover leak, after a couple days of looking I finally found a part number that interchanges with the OEM starter as the OEM starters at $1300 and I can't afford that, this starter was only $270 and I replaced the start and still had the same issues, I posted a video asking for help online and it went very well, some guy said it was probably a bad ignition switch so I took my dash apart and turns out my ignition switch was half screwed in and was loose, once it was tightened it fired right up, I found a local place called "Boost factory" and they sold me a part of OEM Nissan rocker covers, they were $600 which was a shocker but I couldn't find them anywhere else, so I installed them and fixed my oil leak as the old rocker cover was cracked and warped, I now need to replace my boost air inlet hoses as they have some cracks.
    • I am being real ocd and do not want to make amy mistakes so appreciate all help provided. I am overly cautious so asking for opinion even if i know the answer   few questions,   1.re tensioner, should spring be greased lightly?    2.tensioner has two washers , one pressure washer and other has recessed/ seat. I am going to put the recessed one facing tensioner where edges are cut out and pressure washer on top   3. my car has custom triger kit sold few years ago by guy who initially built the engine. I moved the crank gear and it moved in and out easy, only way to remove belt is to slide the crankshaft gear forward which I did. I have seen these being very tough to move , anything to do with my woodruff key?   it has a crank sensor shown in purple which I assume reads from the 12 teeth position mounted to the crankcase gear   4. timing belt doesn’t have arrow stating front or back just a arrow which I think is direction of rotation . Do you agree?   5.i figured out why my crankcase cover was worn as there was no washer installed over the crankcase cover before the harmonic balancer was put in place. It is missing, anyone knows the part number? It looks like this https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-crankshaft-timing-gear-rear-plate-washer-nissan-s13-ca18-a31-r32-rb20-r33-r34-c33-c34-c35-rb25?currency=USD   https://tinypic.host/image/IMG-4535.382Zy2 https://tinypic.host/image/IMG-4537.382dSz https://tinypic.host/image/IMG-4534.382q4U
    • CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) has existed since the 80's. I'm looking into buying a Hummer H1 and they generally included it.
    • My idle is set at 950rpm though - Moving the timing around 20 degrees is not really what I'd call a calm idle. That said... neither is chop, by definition. The LS ECU likes to adjust timing to hold idle as opposed to air. It'd work, but generally speaking there'd be a discrepancy in the base idle and the IACV would want to move the timing around anyway to maintain said idle. I think I'm just going to keep the timing steady anyway. Preserve my engine mounts.  My aircon is now officially regassed. As the guy was reversing I noticed my reverse lights do not operate, along with my reverse cam. This is a bit distressing, because 100% of guides talk about which wire to connect to backup cams as "the goes with the [other color] wire". Often when doing conversions. Unfortunately the R34 colour wires aren't documented Unfortunately I had a T56 Magnum gearbox with it's reverse switch, which also isn't documented. Unfortunately there's definitely not documentation for people with both of these in the one car. Unfortunately I forgot. After many hours of this, I have a reverse cam and reverse lights again. The wire going through the trans tunnel to the reverse switch had broken. Upon inspection, it looks like this one wire had about 7 spade terminals and extensions in it.. for reasons I cannot possibly comprehend. I also spent the 750 hours required to clean up the wiring behind my head unit which now looks like this: This is a monumental improvement relative to what used to be there WRT triple gauges, head unit, traction control, wideband controller, and whatever the f**k OEM stuff still exists there in various states of connectivity/needed. Next step is to check in at the Exhaust shop to see/confirm how much clearance I have, to decide what mid mufflers or 'resonators' (which are just straight through, narrower mufflers) I can add and hopefully cut out a lot of exhaust leaks, pinhole, v-band or otherwise. But first step will be to 'take a look' before the next step.
