Unfortunately thats illegal. Come in DD, you're from SA - the only state more strict than VIC on mods - you would know that!

120 to 114 would require 4 new holes to be drilled - unless the centre was hidden by a cap it would look like ass. And I dunno if I'd want to be leaning on a wheel with a hub that looked like Swiss cheese :-p

You can wobble bolt/nut 112 to 114 - but if you HAD to go 114 to 120 - I'd only do it with bolt on adapters. Has been done - I have seen an s14 on 7 series rims.

I'm guessing based on your sig you have a spare set of rims, MFC05, and trying to make em fit?

There are plenty of CSL reps in correct patter thon .....

smokey, didnt know and dont care. i do it happily :)

and no, no extra holes. we get the original holes modded. non reversable.

120 to 114.3 requires just a slight oversize of bolt holes, and an offset sleeve to reduce the stud pcd. not visible at all.

merc 112 to 114.3 requires only reseating the stud taper. no insert. nothing visible at all.

The US equipped Infintis have some decent looking factory wheels.

For anyone looking for some inspiration here's a link in the g37 forums with some tastefully modded Gs

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
