Thanks for the replies so far guys.

Worst thing about the cat it belongs to this old lady in the end unit whos partner just past away otherwise I would take moggie fishing. I don't even have it me to tell her to keep the bloody cat inside. I'm getting old I used to be harder than this...

Tried just wetting the hood of my car tonight when I jumped out, Will keep doing that till I notice paw prints.

Not sure if the cat jumps on straight after work or later in the night.

Update:- No Cat Present while testing to open my windows outside of the car from other topic.

whatever you do, don't scare the cat when it's on your car unless you want to see a cat doing a burn-out on your baby.

i have the same problem, and only had moderate success with a cat repelant spray. but i think it's still your best bet less cover, garage, poochie, or cat-napping.

if anybody wants, i have a new car cover for sale. bought it from super crap autos - couldn't be stuffed covering the car everyday and unable to put it back in the bag so it's been sitting around doing nothing. pm me if you want more details. will sell half price if anybody interested.

sorry for the highjack thread ...

if anybody is interested in a garage group buy, let me know!

look online there are these lil airsole things that shoot compressed air out when the cat gose near then they are sued to keep cats off kitchen benches saw it on dr harry once just stick one on your bonet (made some felt to the bottom of the can first) when lil mr scratchy paws jumps up will get a lil blast of compressed air scare the pants off him and problem solved

*edit*

found this, u can probly get them alot cheaper

I Hear that goats like to sit on cars too....so what ever you do dont buy a goat  HAHAHA....

mate of mine went up to a farm to buy a dog and got told the above story about their goats and had to keep and eye on his car while buying the dog, cant image the kind of dent a goat would do.

I just placed one of those motion sensored chime things (battery operated), and it got rid of my issue... depends if you can place it in a good position and how closed off your garage is :/

Got any links mate ?

Concrete pill to harden up is needed. I love it when I'm outside doing things with the car and our cats are curious and want to come over and curl up on/in the car.

They are attracted to the warmth coming off the car, especially in winter. If it's really an issue for you buy a car cover, pretty simple. Or go with drsplodge's idea.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
