Dash Rubber Film

hey guys, whats the best way to remove that film of rubber that covers the dash facia? has anyone sussed it and got the perfect method yet?

Doesn't it just peel off?

i used a half of bottle of the orange clean... or any other citrus cleaner.. and then just rub it away .. it looks so much better now

a well, i managed to just peel it off, just took all day, a well, its done now!

mineral turps would awesome for me spent few hours with rubbing with thumb then started trying all sorts of shit and turps just wipes off

+1 for the turps and a rag then just go over with armor all and its a shiny piano black. Looks sick as, worth the hour or two

I Just Used Armorall and cloth to rub it all off, seeing when I was cleaning it with armorall it just came off, so i just took the whole facia off and rubbed it all off, and was left with a shiny black finish! looks a lot better seeing the rubber film scratched off around the gear stick and looked tacky!
