14mm Fuel Rail, Return Nipple On The Same Side As Injectors?

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a 14mm conversion fuel rail for the rb26 but the set up is rather odd. The rail came with nipple on the same side as the injectors as shown by the following pic. It doesnt make sense as there isn't any room for any fitting/line to fit on the car in that set up.

What do you guys think? should I send it back?

The rail is pressurized, meaning the injectors are not waiting for fuel to flow past them for it to be picked up, so its fine.

Does seem odd, I would have thought it would be on the opp face or atleast 90 deg with a nipple welded on for say either a return or pressure gauge.

unless its made to line so the return line runs between the intake runners.

there is even less room for the line to be routed that way... I'll give them a call tomorrow. *sigh, it's so gay when the fuel rail is advertised for the rb26...

That is up to how crafty you are, I am assuming it is wanting to be used with a 90 degree fitting, as mentioned somehwere above.
