Oh yeah, they like Humour... a Good laugh is one Main thing a chick loves...

Once you've made her laugh it settles Huge gaps..

1. You'll both feel comfortable around each other, breaks the ice

2. You'll smile that she's laughed, she'll find you attractive when you smile. The mood heightens.

3. Laughter pumps adrenalin into your system, which enhances hormones

4. You'll be happy she thinks you're funny. And you'll feel more confident.

5. She'll want to keep you around and introduce you to her friends, to make them laugh.

From a females point of view i dont go for guys just because of their car :D ...... obviously because cars are my interest it helps if they have an interest in the same thing, and its surprising the amount of guys that just do not liek cars these days! But really if i really am into a guy ..... im going to like him no matter what he drives!!

Cars are beginning to mean too much to some people... I know a few people (Females Mainly) that hear someone mentioning a car.. say.."I saw this nice white R33 GTS-T in town" and are soooo quick to tell them how good a friend they are, and they got to drive it, and they are always riding around in it.....

People become obsessed over someone elses car and this is what they call Envy...

Envy can never be the start of a good relationship, Using your car to pick up brings in the wrong types, Althought the Interest from young scantily clad women can raise your confidence and make you a more "charismatic" person...

A decent girl just wants you to have a comfortable car, stable job, sense of humour and big back seat....

When talking to a girl, Never talk about yourself, or your car, only answer questions and ask questions about her... Girls pick up on what you are trying to get at, They know more about what you are thinking than you know...

Be unpredictable, That's it.. Do something or Say something that they aren't expecting, and you'll be in their head for a while, They'll talk to their friends about you... eg "Guess what happened last night, This guy came up to me and Told me I had a nice facial structure" ...  She'll be curious about you.. then The nice job, and nice car that she finds out about later just give her bonuses when she talks about you "You know that Guy I told you about... the facial structure thing ... He's got this really nice Nissan Skyliner turbo thing" ....

Not only are you in her good books, her girlfriends will be curious too...

That's an instant couple of admirers...

Only thing it takes is getting past the fact that you might get rejected and giving it a try....

So.... I don't use my cars to pick up... Mainly cause I don't have a car that would pick up...

Walking my dog gets more attention from the girls than driving my cars lol...

But thats just what a Pure bred Siberian Husky is for...

Anyways, Enough dribbling for me..

Now I need to go sulk at my inability to pick up a chick ;-)~

Steve

Thus my licence plate... NVY :)

Go the huskie, have u got a pic?

i love them :P

nice facial structure? I prefer to tell a girl she has nice tits, they know what you are after, and if they hang around, then they are happy for a bit too, none of this buttering up and being nice just to get into their pants, its just not right.

Funny thread.. i think bonzelite is possibly hermaphrodite! either that or Martha Stewart or something who's on acid or something.. how many wives do you own Bonz ? :D

I think once you hit about 25 its all over as the skyline actually being an attractor to women. When you're like 18 and stuff, probably most guys can only afford a pov-box, and to be seen to be driving something that is "desireable" to them and way out of their price range at such an age gets them all excited and probably will get you the chicks. Even just things such as electric windows or climate control is like a whole new thing to them. I know back then i knew guys/often my mates had nice cars and it seemed to work..

Its funny sometimes because I don't really notice it as most people i know are my age i guess, but when i see the reaction of younger women, see them on the street or just speaking to younger people, it takes me back to those days and imagine just how much putti I could'a pulled and how easy it would have been driving my car - its funny the reaction "wow, such a nice car, whats it got done, is it a GTR, blah, damn blah". Personally couldn't give a ****, because to me its just a skyline. Its more like "stop looking at me to me, I can feel it and its annoying!". I never bought my car really for looks, just to be faster than everybody else on the road .. i guess generally i like to be a man of actions not words :)

The thing is it does wear off as you get older and maybe women do become less superficial and a little more mature in their outlook and no longer is just a car enough for them! So those under 25 enjoy it while it lasts! After that women are more interested in other more important things such as how much money you have, what investment properties you own, a long term career, etc! The car thing wears off rapidly - in fact some women may just see owning a car like that as being still a "boy" and it won't get u anywhere. Like inasnt is saying, unless you're driving a Ferrari it don't matter no more.

If I wanted to appear "semi successful" at my age, and use my car to pick i'd probably be more successful buying an early model beamer and making it look nice .. chicks wouldn't know shit whether its the latest model or something, just that its a "BMW". Even though a 10 year old BMW would cost the same as a decent condition R33, they don't know crap

Guess we'll all just have to stick to women under 25, then :D

Wow... i just read all of that, was really interestin!! lol

I want a 180sx, for the speed reason, i love fast cars... just hate bein caught haha

Ye i like attracting attention and any nice sport car will do that, I drive an Nissan Exa with a blue neon on the front and white headlights/parklights and you see how many heads turn.. somethin that stands out! lol Slow as all shit bein a 1.8n/a tho.. hahaha

The lucky thing wid me was i met my gf before i bought my car, so i know she loves me for me, the idea of buyin a 180sx, goin to clubs etc (shes younger cant atm) doesnt stand too well with her... But hey im a 17yr old male i gotta do these things she understands :)

There are a few posts i agree with, the last one before mine a good example, dads 46 n looking at a BMW now, well he could have a Sky, 'buts its the badge son' lol.

Im going YAY get a sky, hes goin mmm I like this BM, dad it looks shit, but its a BMW...

This was a good read anyhow, funny, interesting etc.

If you use chicks to pull cars, then cool, but use em for a night becoz those sort of chicks, REALLY HOT or NOT, arent the type to stay with... what happens when the R33 you have is replaced by the R34 your mate has... :)

Cars can attract attention from girls you wouldnt normally get attention from however, and some of these may be nice, so thats good.. but BEWARE i say, some girls only like cars and money.. someone comes along with more and they are gone.. Hasnt happened to me, but thats coz im only 17! :)

predator: maybe it's because chicks over 25 aren't impressed by 20k cars and only turn heads in mid-20s drivers in 100k cars instead

haha, probably..they just expect more..

pentae: lol .. that is probably why my last g/f was 21

I think older chicks also tend to like newer cars as well by that stage. I know a mate who was sucked into buying a brand new car, even though his old car was only 2 years old! just because of the rantings of his g/f.. and she was the type that could never afford one herself. Scary thing is now they're getting married

They definitely like whatever car to look clean and shiny, no matter what sort of car it actually it is. That maybe comes first, how the guy takes care of the car, not actually what it is. Maybe its something to do with, if the guy takes care of the car, he will take care of her?? And chicks always have this thing about changing them to make them the centre of attention, rather than the car, as the relationship progresses. Buying what "she" wants rather than he wants. So many blokes drive ****ing girly cars simply because of their women.. its very true!

    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
    • The video for the servicing and fuel filter change can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLJ65pmQt44 One of the main jobs I wanted to do before the car officially went on the road, was to remove the awful looking blue silicone hoses. There's nothing wrong with having coloured silicone hoses, but I realise as I'm getting older I prefer monotone engine bays with a splash of colour on the engine cover(s). I cover this in a lot more detail in the Youtube video, so unfortunately there's limited photos of the process. The intercooler, upper radiator, boost vacuum and upper breather hoses were all changed to black silicone with mikalor clamps. The only blue left is a blanking cap at the back of the inlet manifold and the GReddy pulleys (which will be replaced for stock when the cambelt gets replaced) While the intercooler pipes were off I gave them a quick clean/polish too A before photo I do have a replacement air filter on its way. Fuse box covers were painted blue, they're now satin black Another job on the list while the bumper was off, is to add some mesh https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737966256_99b28bfa30_c.jpg[/img] I was hoping to use some thin wire to secure it, but it seems I've misplaced it and the wire I had was too thick to twist easily. I ended up using cable ties for the time being https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737131882_c2b7989dcc_c.jpg[/img] Was pleasant to see this https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737131627_8b2aab13b3_c.jpg[/img] The last thing to do was to fix the front grill and re-mesh that to match but I ran out of time The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4FsF6tgizE&t=23s
