Basically.. the HRIII can record Digital TV while you watch another program and can play back MP3 + MP4's via a USB input.

Simon,

What's the price going to be on the HR III? Looks awesome, love the MP3 + MP4 playback (including divx and xvid) and the recording (not that you would use it that often but hey).

I assume hooking it up would be identical to the instructions for the HRII.

Should be about $280 I believe.

Brad, will talk to you soon about getting some connector cables for the OEM tuner.

Are they the RCA to white plug jobs (for the factory tuner)?

If so can you get a spare one to go with the hr3 unit please, they are about $70 - $80 aren't they?

Im thinking that if the HR3 can record tv and radio it MIGHT record the av inputs aswell. Because I want to be able to have an extra camera inside the car which can record things, just in case my car gets broken into then I will have there pictures. Ha Ha.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
