With the injectors, you might want to go with new injector seats (as you don't know the condition of the existing ones until they're off) like here, not sure about the upper seats though: http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...at=0&page=1

I've got Sard 700cc injectors as well (still boxed), but the research I found told me they can be squeezed into the stock GTR rail (even Shaun @ Boostworx told me he has fit them before to the stock rail with abit of oil, even the Sard 800cc's)

I'd add a new genuine fuel filter to the list.

Yhy the Sard fuel pump though? I would personally go with the Nismo intank.

Look on nengun, you need collars for SARD injectors in a RB26 rail.

If not, it's RB25 one... can't remember.

But it's a supplement part (about $100?), hence SARD list price is generally cheap than Nismo etc as you need to get the collars to seat injectors.

whats this high and low impeidence biz huh?

Depending on your ECU, you might need one or the other.

What ECU you running again?

If you are going to replace the rail, you might want a Sard rail to go with the injectors. This means you probably wont need collars???

yep ive got the tomei rail

and ill be running the new haltech plug in and ditching the afms

the injectors in my case wont need collars

and an injector guy just explained low impeidence and resistors to me so i have a few choices

for high impeidence you need to remove the resistor thingy

Hey Jase, my mechanic can supply new o-rings (injectors don't usually come with them, always a good idea to use new ones) for a decent price. I'm running 700cc sards and they fit factory, got a bosch 044 external fed by standard in-tank, 540hp atw. Where are you heading power wise? Any fuel mods you do now might as well take into account where you want to end up power wise.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
