Best bet, get a place that services/repairs guages to do it:)

I did mine, most of the needles just lever off upwards with a small screwdriver - the speedo though is another matter, I farked mine by trying to lever it off.

I was told by the guy who replaced my speedo mechanism (cost $200), that with the speedo you have to lift one side of the round base part over the top of the needle towards the other side, rather than try and lift it off vertically. The spindle that the needle sits on is very fragile and it doesnt take much upward prying of the needle to rip it out of the guage (or at least move it enough that its stuffed).

When replacing the needles, make sure you note exactly where the needles sat when the engine was at idle, and then put them back on. Mine all moved, so replacing them in the same spot they were when I removed them (ie dash out of the car) resulted in having to pull them all off again and start over.

with the wires, just use the holes From the bulbs used to illuminate the dials at night, saves cutting holes.

good luck.

same issue as blx, but with fuel and oil pressure!

tip, you might wanna leave the light that does the odometer, cant see it with the dash lit up!

My fuel and oil pressure are still not accurate even after pulling them out about 2 times trying to fix em. The needles and spring are very sensitive and aint designed to be pulled out and reinstalled i recon.

Guys,

Once I have a pic taken, I can show u my white dials, they light up green or blue and can be dimmered at night...cool!!!!! all credits go to the previous owner!!!!

I always did wonder how he did it......

Just a quick question to all those driving an auto, do your speedo's go up to 180 km/hour only???? I just cant figure that one out....hmmm....

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
