Skyline'zor
Hey, just wanting a basic idea on how much an exhaust + ecu would cost? Was quoted 900 for a turboback xforce system from x-speed, was thinking of getting the SAFC and a tune aswell. R34 gt-t stock standard. inthisglass
http://www.justjap.com/store jump on there and have a look at exhausts as for safc, I wouldn't bother with a tune until you put a fmic on and up the boost a bit Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/333985-how-much/#findComment-5413155 Share on other sites
R32 Driver
manual or auto? going to do any more future mods? fmic + boost controller? 900 for turbo back exhaust is okay safc tune should cost 250ish (safc itself another 250 + 100-150 install?) maybe get a nistune around 900 supplied installed and tuned Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/333985-how-much/#findComment-5413165 Share on other sites
bubba
Don't bother with the SAFC, go NIStune. I can get boards easily, shoot me a PM if you're interested. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/333985-how-much/#findComment-5413185 Share on other sites
Skyline'zor
its manual and stock standard for now, i'd like to do a few more mods but am not going to go to far. I'd probably get boost controller and fmic next on the list. Which is the ecu that comes with map sensors? Ten Four
$900 bob seems pretty good for a turboback mate. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/333985-how-much/#findComment-5414253 Share on other sites
Skyline'zor
yeah i thought it was cheap. definitly getting it, just wondering now what ecu to go with it. Nistune sounds good...i also want map sensors so i can get rid of the afm, it already failed once:| Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/333985-how-much/#findComment-5414357 Share on other sites
LANDSCRIBBLE
from what i've heard of these safc chip/computer, whatever it is, hardly gain any benefits for what its worth. if you can get a nistune, z32 n someone to tune it for 900 go for it! R32 Driver
Nistune will need to retain the AFM to work if you want map senors and fark off the afm your gonna need, vipec, haltech or motec They will start closer to 2-2.5k supplied/installed and tune for vipec/haltech not sure the price on motec but will most likely be more then the rest Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/333985-how-much/#findComment-5414892 Share on other sites

bubba
Is there nistune available for S2 R33 for Perth people i.e. supply, install + tune? It can be done with a Z32 ECU (to retain VCT) or an RB20 ECU (does not retain VCT) with some minor wiring changes. You will most likely have to source your own Z32 or RB20 ECU to do it though but any workshop that support NIStune will be able to take it from there. ah. perhaps not then, is more than i want to spend PM replied.
