driving home last night and a owl or some type of night bird decided to fly out and destroy my windscreen, lucky i didn't find it.

so pretty much i was just wondering how much a windscreen is for a R32 gtst and what were some prices people have paid ?

Some discount windscreen places are somewhat cheaper than O'Brien Glass; so budget for somewhere between 150-250.

The windscreen repairer has to be careful as he uses suction cups to remove the screen and leave the moulding undamaged.

And that price above, is assuming that the moulding around the screen does not have to be replaced either.

Some insurance companies help to cover for 1x windscreen per year. :P

you can find a good condition 2nd hand one without the antenna built in to the windscreen for about $150 - $250.

there is an option to get a brand new aftermarket windscreen with the antenna built in but i've been quoted $600 for it.

brand new from nissan was about $1500 :D

have a look around, maybe someone is wrecking a 32 where you might be able grab the windscreen off, but as Terry said, make sure the guy taking out the window is VERY careful. not just for the moulding but the glass itself can break when being taken out.
