Yo,

Headed up to Entrance soon and wanted to know if anyone knew of any good scenic cruising routes going up that way. The more bends the better... and also the less bicycle bikers the better (ie Old Pacific - awesome route - but too many bicylces in the way)...

Cheers,

Mike

Old Pac is still tops > it depends on what time you do it!

I don't know what suburb you're heading from, but whilst you're after a scenic route, consider this loop...

Bobbin Head N.P. > Old Pacific Hwy > Kariong > Foresters Beach > Terrigal > The Entrance > Nora Head > Gorokan > Wyong > Mangrove Mountain > Spencer > Wisemans Ferry (which will be OK with your front lip) > Dural > Galston Gorge > Hornsby :)

You can do the above in reverse order; and if you do, I'd stop at the Trackside Restaurant West Gosford (a virtual Nissan restaurant) for lunch/afternoon tea/dinner.

Tons of twists in that!!!!!! Take all day with a nice long lunch.

Hahaaa...

Mike's not in a GT-R.

He'll romp it home; 'er so long as he fills up before he starts!

...on 2nd thought... where does he live???

But I would like one... You guys offering?? hehe

We'll be taking off from Milsons Point. I just Google Mapped your route. It will be just over a 5 hour cruise for all the checkpoints. So I will just make it home on one tank.

 Andrew, Im still trying to convince my mates to go through this route, but we're going for a Birthday so come cars will be fully loaded. But will definately let you know if we go through it.

Terry, already considered it mate and would have loved to go. But after my Wedding in August then honeymooning in Malaysia & then organising Track Day in September, my CAR-STUFF-4FUN-FUND funds are almost zero. Just got enough in there for petrol for a cruise or two.

Scrimp those two cruises together, as that's what, 2 tanks of fuel?

Use one tank of fuel (Or a touch less) to get to Trackside with us, $45 for a non member dinner, and you cruise home.

You get to come, and you've scrimped those two cruises together into one AWESOME night with Jim Richards.

What would you rather, two cruises, or one cruise and dinner with Jim Richards?

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
