Yo dawgs, I wanna diagnose why my engine's not firing on two cylinders. Unfortunately Pre-1991 ceffies run the old red top RB20 (GTS-R) coilpacks and PTU, so I can't use the one out of my R32.

Does anyone have a fully functional early model PTU I can borrow for a day? I'll use it to check if it's the PTU, the leads or the actual coilpacks, then return it promptly.

I'm in the SE burbs, but I'm happy to come pick it up anywhere in metro melb.

Yeah I just saw that in the parts thread. So that means VG30 coilpacks will also work, cos from memory they're the same as CA18's. Makes sense, all those engines were from 1987-88.
