Bought AE90 corolla, overheated in yesterday 37degrees. Now also suspected head gasket.... ffffffs

i live in kalgoorlie, its hotter here and my r31 doesn't have any problems with the heat

Agreed, just picked up a r31 silo for $500 with ac, no rego. Been one of the best cars ive owned, though the paint looks crap, but it goes like stink for a 20yr old car

Hey everyone,

been asking around, some boys at the flying college in Jandakot sharing their experiences with bunkies

Its scared me haha, they generally seem to spend 1000 on maintenance for every 100 they spent on the car (slight exaggeration)

bit worried, if i do pick a bunky up ill definitely get it checked out with a good mechanic etc before I buy it.. might delay buying the car and just pay slightly more for something less likely to cost me billions to fix every few weeks
