Might bring the laurel out if I can swing the day off

No taxis allowed Rod!!! :) Just jokes mate - not for me to say. But if I end up going you could jump in with me if you want, I'll probably see you before then anyways.

Righto ... planned the route out. Looking at a meet time of 10.00am with a departure for 10.30am at the latest. Its a 250km round trip taking some 4 hours and 20 minutes, not including stops.

Lunch will be a stop at Victor Harbor, where you can head straight home after, or continue for a more scenic way home (total 250km). The short route (those wanting the quick route home) will be 186km and 3 hours 40 minutes.

PMs will be sent off in the next few days.

:)

EDIT: meet and departure times altered ... please note.

250kms?? Hope there's a few petrol stations along the way for me :) haha

250kms is half a tank for me :) But I guess you have two turbos, so twice the consumption. :rofl2:

There are opportunities to grab fuel along the way, but I'd still advise everyone to get their fuel before the meet point.

    • hey mate so i was in a similar position needing something better than oem for track but also wanting it to look the part, i went for APG APG Performance Brakes they are a solid price and i have had no issues with any of the components from them. the rotors and pads can be swapped out for all the usual brands just ensure you are getting the right sizes. i have just a front kit on my car. i would recommend upgrading to a bigger master cylinder as they are a bigger calliper so you can actually notice some increased braking performance
    • Hi guys, I've just bit the bullet on a forged rebuild for my 25det looking at making 600rwhp with the built engine. Having always been a butthurt for big brakes, I'd like to upgrade the fronts. I have looked at a few different websites, not have really stood out to me. What are some good quality front brakes, are the Attkd ones any good?    Thanks.
    • Went out for drive with Jackie for a while in the Mazda and whilst it was raining cats and dogs, the interior and boot are still nice and dry so the top and drains are working well to keep the elements out, winning
    • And yes would be going to tomei Japan for sure as it’s closer to me …
    • Yeah I heard the same. Might be hard to order one. But then I guess can go to hks or go to a more expensive n1 block with tomei. Guess will jump the hurdle once I get there next upgrade around. I can’t get work done in the states as the lead time will take for ever on top of shipping to Hong Kong.
