i saw.. i was asking, seeing as in a coupla weeks i'm getting 400r ones fitted. They look like decent quality ones. The guy who painted my car said he could get some for $220 and really good quality, but not sure where he was talking about?

The 400R bar fits a fair sized intercooler. Mine is 600x300x60 and there is a fair bit of space, but it was pretty tight fit with the side piping.

I'm not a big fan of the 400R front bar. I'm not a big fan of body kits to be honest. I hate it when people only put on the front bar and leave the rest of the car. That front bar is a very low front bar.

Can be quite disasterious in carparks and the like.

while that is kinda interesting and all, i clicked on the wrong photo..

here is the one i meant to send.. looks a fair bit better with the mesh (can hardly see the cooler, depends if u like stealth or not).. and the clear indicators i reckon.

mine isn't too bad, but i did put a crack.. but you could put a crack in anything if you're not careful. Driveways can be a problem though, but i just don't go up them. I can get around macccas, shopping centres and things usually - just have to take care.

ye erin :D i know.. it looks funny without sideskirts i reckon myself. Well the plan *was* to get new ones fitted whne i got it back.. but that didn't happen. So it has to go back in a few weeks.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
