Moodles2
It's possible a previous owner drilled a massive hole in the firewall near that location, and it's the heat from the enginebay leaking in Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/343676-very-hot-in-driver-side-footwell/#findComment-5540960 Share on other sites

mad082
that would be heat from the gearbox. might be worth checking the oil level of the box, however it is normal to get some heat from there. ClutchBurndout-:(
actually guise, its the climate control still pumping heat in because your setting on the unit is hot (when it was on) if you want to stop it heating up, turn your climate control on, and put the temp down and then turn it off. heat from the heater leaks in, so when you adjust the temp, the heater hose closes and instead of leaking hot air into the footwell it leaks colder air or something o rather... Basti
^^^this. or just hit the recirc button on the aircon. achieves the same thing. i prefer turning the temp down though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/343676-very-hot-in-driver-side-footwell/#findComment-5542117 Share on other sites
