If thats what it takes for you to make yourself feel better because you will never own one in your life than so be it. They are not track built cars, they are prestige sports cars, so saying that you will show them up on the track stiff shit. They are still worth more than the house you will never own.

Do you see an F1 Skyline? NO but you do see a F1 Ferrari.

Different philosophies at work

Scuderia Ferrari sell road cars to fund their racing ambitions. Pure and simple. This is why Tifosi are so fanatical

Nissan create the best road going cars they can as that is their primary focus. Their racing ambitions come secondary. This is extremely common (think Mercedes/AMG, Porsche/RUF, Nissan/Nismo, Holden/HSV, Ford/FPV etc). These manufacturers only do racing to get prestige among certain market segments.

You cannot compare the two. Ferraris, Lambos, etc, are wild to rock on a track, but you try to reverse them into a parallel park, or even an angle park, you'll be swearing more than a pissed sailor on shore leave...

Some perspective should be used when comparing any Brand, let alone models. Their motives determine what kind of car they produce.... for good or bad..

While thats nice it shouldnt be forgotten all car companies exist for one reason - to make as much profit as possible to keep the board happy.

Very few of them do it for the love

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
