Hey Guys,

I have a pair (2) of Nissan VG30 Turbos up for sale.

They were used to run in a new motor and were never pushed above 6PSI. They have since come off the motor and sitting in the garage. There is absolutly no probs with the unit and no shaft movement. All blades on the turbo's compressor wheel are in excellent condition.

If anyone wants pics let me know, and happy to post them up.

Located in Campbelltown, NSW and happy to freight at buyers expense if interested.

Chasing $300 a turbo.

PM me if interested.

Thanks,

Terry :bunny:

Here are the pics of the turbos.

There is absolutly nothing wrong with them, and were removed for new garrett ones to be installed.

The care has always been run with air filters on so, there is no damage to the compressor blades, just could do with a good clean.

These are the Ball bearing units. Im not too sure what model they came off, as they were picked up some time ago by a mechanic.

They did not blow any smoke what so ever, and were never over boosted. They were simply used to run in a new motor till they were to be replaced.

These units were never fitted to a skyline so there are no lines to include with it.... sorry

If you need any more info, happy to help.

Thanks

Just to clarify, these are off a twin turbo VG30DETT, not 2 off a single turbo motor VG30DET that some ppl use as an upgrade on a gtst?

Here are some more pics of the rear exhaust housing...

In all honestly im not too sure which model VG30 they are, as I did not buy them at the time. My mechanic at the time got them for me and selected them to be used to run in a new holden motor.

If anyone knows the markings on the rear of the turbine housing / exhaust housing between the two models, im happy to go searching.

Thanks!

The wategate brackets have been modified to suit the engine I was driving in.

I have checked out the turbos and they have two different marking on the compressor wheel.

45v2 and 45v4.

16 V* is Rb20

45 V1 is Vg30 BB

45 V2 is Vg30 BB from auto leopard

45 V3 is Vg30 BB

45 V4 is Rb25 BB

Any questions, happy to help.

ive got one of these on my r32, full boost around 3100 rpm which is 12psi , not too bad either, mines got quite a bit of shaft play now so i might grab one off you. ill let you know soon.

Both of these are still available...

If anyone is interested, make a serious offer and they are yours.... need these gone asap.

I have the flanges that connect up to the back of the units included to go with them if needed.

Thanks

    • Hey everyone. Is there a way I can get the original window sticker (maroney label) for my 1995 R33 GTST? I doubt I’ll be able to ever get it but it’s worth a shot to ask
    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
