I pulled up to a set of lights not long ago and their were 3 skylines and one commodore.  

I knew at that point, that there were more skylines than commodores

Are you serious?

Nearly a million commodores are sold/re-sold every year in Australia.

There isnt even HALF a million skylines in the entire world.

And commodores are still being made, Skylines are not

I don't mind seeing so many other skylines. It probably means that 2nd hand parts will get cheaper and there will be more available. Insurance premiums may dip if enough owners get insurance and don't crash too much.

Depends on the time of day, where you go. But sometimes you just see a few in a short space of time and you definitely notice. Especially R33.. R32 are a lot less common. Coming from Melbourne its pretty different. Don't see too many R34 here at all, but you see quite a few in Melb

There is an R33 around West End (blueish) which I saw a 40 year or older woman driving. Seen her driving a couple of times. It always puts a smile on my face - just picture your mum driving a stock as a rock skyline When you're mum is driving the same car as you, not sure how cool it is anymore.

The old guy in the red R34 GTT is me you are right I am in my fifties, 57 to be exact.

No one told me I had to be young to drive one lol.

i wonder whether skylines will start to be body modified like s13's,s14's and s15's. The new go is s15 fronts on s13 silvias/180's or putting a silvia front on a 180 or a 180 front on a silvia like i have. I've also seen a r32 front on a silvia. I wonder if we'll start to see things like that?? Depends how interchangable the parts are i guess.

they do some parts like front bar head lights and bonnet i seen a 34 front bar headlights on a 33

so i guess the next question is.................is it good that there are lots of skylines around??? more parts etc.....

what do you guys reckon about that??
