Vl Rb30 Or Rb20Det?

I Have recently purchased a vl commodore with a standard rb30 auto. However i want to convert it to manual so im not sure if i should go buy a manual conversion kit or put in my rb20det motor in it which is already a manual. Now iv heard good things and bad things about both motors but im just not sure what to do ??????? PLEASE HELP ME Cheers, Ryan.

well the rb30 is non turbo and the rb20 is turbo........

But which would be the least muckin around? cause if i put the rb20 in i have to change heaps of shit around like crossmember, heaps of sensors, wiring loom, diff to make speedo work, exhaust...

Put the 20 box behind the 30? That would be the pretty straight forward and pretty much no messing around!

More information with what you want to do with the car would help too!

Thats what i thought, all i want is a reliable car without going overboard. Like i want some power behind the wheels but id like to avoid cam upgrades and shit like that. For now anyway. i spose i could get a turbo for it, do you recommend any? that are easy to find and not highly priced? cheers mate.
