buzzboy
Hi guys I have am EXEDY heavy duty Clutch NSK-7056HD in my r33 gtst - just the HD not a button or Cushion. Just wanted to know how much power I can run with out any slip . Also would adding a stronger pressure plate help hold more power and if so what change would I see in the clutch pedal and engagement . My power goal is 230rkw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/356147-exedy-heavy-duty-cutch/ Share on other sites
kudos.motorsports
The official rating for the Exedy NSK-7056HD is 320hp (~240kw) at the flywheel therefore with 230rwkw you'll be really testing it. You can run these with a higher clamp pressure plate to slightly raise this figure however the drive plate really isn't designed for it. In my opinion you would be better swapping to a more suitable kit, such as the R32 listed sports organic, Exedy NSK-7121SO, which is rated to 380hp (280kw). Stronger clamp rating and importantly stronger drive plate and springs.
