I love my car too much to sell it. Maybe in a few years time when i replace it with a chaser or 34.

Wont b coming tonight, gonna swap out headunits time to dwiddle in unknown areas!

tech night was good. shy of shattering everything in my car (which he obv didnt do), it took him remarkably longer to hotwire my car past the standard alarm than the 5 seconds it took to get ralfs car started........install really is everything. if anything ralfs alarm seemed to make it easier to steal. :domokun:

my car goes to chris on tuesday to get sorted :) should have it back for a thursday drive.

yeah the old man in me has said "sell it and fix the VW"......but then the older man kicked in and said "you'll never sell it for what its worth, and that would be a waste of money more than any fuel economy will make up for"

I was wondering how long this thread would go "un-posted" my flush boot isn't coming, justjap reckons the fit isn't quite flush and preferred to refund it...

Still waiting for the skyline to be ready.. :-(

its on sunday..

Still working... Joys of working in the golf industry, busiest days are Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday. Very very rarely do I get any of these days off

Go a roof wing sitting at home, currently contemplating getting it wrapped. I have spare carbon fibre wrap lying around. I currently have boot, ashtray, arm rests, door handle plastics & door sil things wrapped.

What do you guys reckon? worth wrapping or pait it same colour as car [white]

Those of you who missed out on last nights dinner, it was great. Steak was sooo awesome. Good chat about the direction that people want the club to go as well.

There's gonna be another dinner next Wednesday. Any suggestions as to where? I've had one suggestion being the German Club. Never been there so I have no idea what it's like.

    • I was just driving into work and while on my drive, I went to accelerate and noticed the car would sputter/hesitate and I’d hear a few pops from the exhaust before it started going faster. Then I also noticed that when I push my clutch in, the car would die. This all started happening today. Any ideas?
    • That is a lovely Volvo, just saying. Yes I should have got an 260RS when they were cheap. I do regret now.
    • ^ lots of good points made above. The thing is, "aggressive" or "flush" fitment is relative depending on how much you have been influenced by social media. My starting point is always "look at the Nismo RWD specs". That is where you should start, then start measuring as GTSBoy as sort of mentioned, because every car will be slightly different. My 8.5"+35/9.5+38 will not be "flush" enough for you because you want more "pumped" look, which is why you measure. Tyre sizes and brand/models also make a difference. Some tyres are more chunky/square, some are more rounded. That means you could get away with more aggressive offsets without rubbing. But then it also depends on your ride height. Also depends on how much your car copped damage before being shipped from Japan. So it goes back to measuring your car yourself and determining what can work. Those Nismo specs are used bacause it's a safe spec for standard car (suspension. body) with chunky tyres. But then I put 265/35 wide tyres on R34 GT-R wheels, and currently run 285/30 tyres on 18x10 wheels.
    • Sounds pretty awesome. I recommend creating a new build thread and posting all your goodness in there.
