The AFL starts again tonight and I know there are some posters on here that like their Aussie Rules (and some posters who don't). I thought we may as well have another thread about it as I'm sure the rivalry will begin again between supporter groups.

Anyone entered the AFL, Sportsbet or Herald Sun free tipping competitions? Do you have a league? Anyone interested in participating in a SAU one?

Anyone entered a Dream Team or Super Coach squad? Again these are free competitions with A new Toyota FJ Cruiser as 1st prize for Dream Team and $50,000 1st prize for Super Coach.

I'm going to the Crows v Hawks on Saturday night. Should be a good game although I'm not confident that the Crows will win.

I'll be there on Saturday night, with our regular crew in the members. I've tipped us but not with a huge amount of confidence . Hodge is carrying that achilles injury so that could play into our hands.

We need to match them in the middle and contain Buddy. Davis, assuming he gets the job, could be in for a big night!

As for Port, a flogging could be on the cards. Pies in fine form, at home, Port missing some quality.

Well, I'm 4 from 5 so far, bloody Cats ruined any chance of 8.

Seems I was right with the Port game, not that it was hard to predict. Not good to see Schultz do his knee, how bad is it, I've not heard? ACL?

Davis needed a solid performance and he delivered! Buddy kicked 2 6, I remember him kicking 1 6 against Bock and they raved about Bocky shutting him down. What Davis lacks in pace he makes up for in every other area.

Tambling, I wasn't sold on him until tonight, watching him from the sidelines I'm now a believer! We were sitting right in front of where he hit Roughy... awesome stuff! And his fluke soccer to hit a Target, freakish.

It's only round one and we got more than a fair run with the ump's for a change, but I like what I'm seeing. Porps shoulder was the lowlight.

  • 3 weeks later...

LOL, I was expecting to be flogged but hoped we'd only get done by a couple!!

Who could've predicted an 11 goal turn-around??

We gave them a full quarter head start then brought out the baseball bats and mugged them :domokun:

Port = 17

Crows = 13

Shame they'll finish above us on the ladder but nothing more satisfying than a Showdown XXX win :cheers:

True Dave.....if only we could bottle whatever they're on whenever they face the Crows then give them a drink of that stuff at the start of every other game, we'd be on our way to another flag

That aint gonna happen anytime soon me thinks :/

I like your theory but the boys looked pretty spent after that Showdown and history has proven that those games take so much out of you for the following week.

With our form leading up to the Showdown, I'm thinking GCS may have notched up next weeks game a very possible win :/

Port should hammer them. Along with what you say though Pete, it'd definitely help having a stack of players who missed the showdown to get a run this weekend.

having a bit of a read though the shit storm of comments on a news.com.au article about Neil Craig, and supporters having a go at him for his coaching etc. One loss and he gets hammered with heavy criticism all over the place...

Not slagging off any AFC supporters on the forum here; a usual Monday after a crows loss, it's always Craigy or the umpires copping a rubbishing by the supporters in my office. How about some of their useless muppet out of form players?

    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items

    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile

    • Ok so i will NEED to have this sensor anyway even with Nistune (or standalone ECU) https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-boost-pressure-sensor-evap-control-system-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-nm35-stagea-pnt30-x-trail-rb25det-vq25det-sr20vet?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqfxX48bW9bEwH62orcNhtBfp7ekAL0C9Ca89ySFGUiBzXfXeze Is this the correct one? And this is only thing i need? No other "things" connected to the sensor or something? I do have the wiring.
