Obd Ii Fault Code Reader

Hi everyone,

This is not skyline related but my 2007 v6 suzuki vitara gave me a solid emission system warning light this morning.

Obviously I need to get this checked out but I want to know would this car have an On Board Diagnostic II port? Was it an australian standard in Aus like in the US?

Has anyone used one of the scanners you can buy on e-bay?

Any help would be much appreciated.

you would need to get one that is specific to to your model car. as for whether your car has a consult port. try searching it in google. get quicker results than on here.

If it is 2007 it would have to be OBD2 compliant, the Japanese OBD2 emissions laws came in 2004 so I assume ours did then too. The US laws came in 2000-2001 I think.

Check for the plug under the steering wheel.
