Damn thats a bummer, you know Id fully help you search for TK parts if you went on the path to get it back to original...

the world is full of huge power skylines, but not many original TKs with all performance mods done...

you wont be able to call it a TK anymore, pull that decal and badge off...

I see what you're doing.

LOL so do I.. Its got me thinking. But I can't leave that ugly gay cross over pipe, small turbo and intercooler. Just can't.

I just want it to put the wrath of god into me and anyone in the car when it comes on boost. That feeling of your eyeballs being sucked to the back of your head while being pinned.

I want it to make me scream fast n furious when I change gears 8 times lol..

Im glad we got that sorted.

Now please continue with your story of upgrades to your series 1 r33 (with mish mash of left over parts from what could of been a unique r33 but isnt since its missing most of, and will be missing a heap more in the future of, its 'rare' and 'unique' parts, which could of been called a tommy kaira but is now sadly just a wanka-thon to make it sound so much better than every other r33 series 1) that a heap of people on these forums have already been there and done that to their own...

I am honestly still keen to hear what you want to do and reading it happen and seeing the awesome pics of the process, and Im sure it will be nicely done and and done your way, and there is nothing wrong with that...

but please come down to earth, your doing what alot of people have done before its not rare, unique or different, its another build process, and yes it may be great even the one done perhaps the best, but I reckon alot of people have started just like your starting now, with a very similar car.

I reckon do a build thread too, with heaps of pictures, I love seeing pictures of decent builds, and I love shiny parts and loud obnxious cars that scare when driven...

btw most people say the series 2 looks better, just sayin...

Found this that for some reason didnt upload with the others.

The build itself is not rare unique and different, but the car itself is. Thats what im saying. If it wasnt the car that it is, I wouldnt have a skyline or have grown to like them. The car is what it is whichever way you look at it, and thats a TK, reguardless of the larger bolt on parts.

As I said when I have more parts, more pics and theres a fair amount of progress happening with the car I'll start a build thread.

Exactly, no reason to keep matching numbers when every other original bit is gone too.

and back to my previous statement, its a series 1 with a bodykit, an ugly one at that.

u can continue build process of your series 1 now...

75coupe, just as I started to think you were somewhat decent, I won’t insult your intelligence by suggesting that you really believe what you just said but thank you, I'm challenged by your "unique" point of view. You have an open mind and a mouth to match.

As for Rolls, don't let your mind wander, its far too little to be let out on its own. Thinking really isn't your strong point, is it? Why don't you freeze your teeth and give your tongue a sleigh ride.

Theres only so many times you can go around in circles and go over the same thing.

Now that your both finished having delusions of competence, feel free to not comment in this thread and let me enjoy and build my ugly series 1.

So may I have the pleasure of you both absence?

Thanks.

Correct me if im wrong, but with a stroker, because the rod/piston's dont actually have to travel as far, then there is less force/momentum being created.. Therefore you can actually rev higher.

pistons travel further in a stroker, hence longer stroke.. from bottom to top dead centre

Are the rods not shorter in a stroker engine?

Nevermind me, just did some reading up on the subject. Funny, I never really put much thought towards how crank throw affects displacement. Oops :D

OP, hows the car coming along? Did you settle on turbo choice yet?

    • I have more than enough digging, laying blocks, moving gravel, airrating, feeding and top soiling the grass, and setting up the veggie gardens growing some seedlings,  and then removing all the unused rock to keep me busy for the next few months at least,  hopefully the rain stops soon so I can get a few hours in this arvo, but, before that Sunday is washing day, is every body happy, you bet your life we are Nice country road day drives are a day off whenever I'm muscle sore from all the landscaping at the moment, but, more epic multiple day drives will start once the majority of the big jobs outside are completed
    • I hear that would involve some nice country road drives into the hills for Mark...
    • I thought I'd come back and add something I JUST learned. A Toyota LandCruiser with a 1HZ, mates perfectly with a bottle of Nulon brake fluid. As in, it perfectly screws in. Great make shift funnel when you cut the bottom of it off. This may work for your Corolla.   Unfortunately, tipping a 10L drum is much harder than a 4 to 6L bottle, and they no longer include the easy pour tap which was just perfection to use previously.
    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items
