the world is flat though...

I'd be walking away from that mate, looks like it was from a snowy area in Japan.

Also, that grille is a "dolphin aeroform" piece.

Chris. You are very very wrong. Rs4s is a factory built car. You may aswell try telling people the world is flat.

That's what I said, the rs4s is the only model that was manual and it was RWD, the op said this car is a manual with AWD so it's been converted is what I'm saying

Rs4s is a manual 4wd. I have one. Many people have them. Chris once again you are very wrong. It's RS4S because its an RS 4WD MANUAL it's that same as RS4V is an RS 4WD AUTOMATIC

The 4 stands for 4wd the same as a gts4 is a 4wd skyline

Chris, you are wrong - there were no factory 5-speed manual series 1 Stageas except the 260RS, and the only series 2 Stageas with factory 5-speed manuals were the 260RS and the RS Four S (with the "Four" referring to the fact it was AWD, not RWD only).

Turns out is has 1 reverse light, the other thing has a red cover over it though, so... not a fog light?

The fact that it has one reverse light and 1 (red) fog light means it was a car optioned with the Snow pack, and hence due to driving on salted roads is much more likely to have rust if it wasn't treated well, as others have pointed out.

I, too, would walk away from this car. There are many well-loved cars available here from SAU forum members that will bring some added value to your purchase.

Also, check out this thread for plenty of info that should help: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/92065-buyers-guide-the-nissan-c34-stagea/

Well I stand corrected, ive always been under the impression the s models were the only RWD model, no need to be a smart arse or people won't ask questions in the future

I only made it a smart ass angry comment because you tried to say it a second time after you were corrected.

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
