These twits just miss the point entirely. Even if the police allowed it to happen, even if they condoned it, why continue to offer up to the police and the public, the image of the f**kwit car enthusiast? Could have been a good opportunity to show police that they can have respect for the right time and place.

What really gets me is these guys are actually proud of the hoon label...thanks for the defect stickers and EPA checks you morons. I read one of them saying if you don't like the negative image you should buy a Camry...obviously thinks he has more rights to be driving a sports car than we do, because...well I can't think of the reason...I'd say he's just a selfish prick.

Very tired of people using a friend or relatives death as an excuse to get away with behaving like a tool and blaming it on the mourning period. The old "give them a break, their friend just died" crap. I also don't think someone's death should exempt them from criticism...these guys who died were obviously the same type of tools who participated in this kind of shit and it cost them their lives. Tragic? Maybe for the families. The rest is just Darwinian theory.

Surely the people engaging in this would have been fined later?

I want to see the thread... I hate boost, the way they converse on there is similar to this:

"Iz gots a sick 180s-xxx nd it up 2 bout 22 pund of bust. wil think but traids + c4sh mi weigh"

"Bro i got a wolworthz trollie, a seeezed dirtbic angine, seets out of a falcen and sum 14 inch steeliz with tirz that hav bout 25 per-scent tred, swaps?"

"ok"

You'd damn well hope so. The tragic death of a person/people is no excuse to break the law, especially in such a blatent manner. I've heard of events somewhat like this before, but they just ripped a single skid each out of the facility.

I just stir shit on boost, and put the lowbreeds in their place.

Okay now I don't know anything about the people who died or the people ripping skids.... but here's my 2c....

Let's assume that the people who died loved a good burnout (Hey, some of us love it. That's why we hit up wsid on a wednesday).

What if they were right in assuming the deceased would appreciate a couple of burnouts at their funeral? Is it then a respectful tribute to the deceased?

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with burnouts, but that's another topic.

Its not up to them to decide if its right or wrong, it was at a cemetary, other people will be there, the respect if for the other people, not the dead guys from boostcruising, its just another example of f uckwits thinking only about themselves, its time that people grow up and have some respect for others, I hope they get booked and cars taged, I would hope so.

Just ask yourself " what if my mother/father was being buried and idiots did that"

Just remember when you think you are cool doing this stupid stuff, people think you are a f uckwit, except of course for the other fuc kwits egging them on.

Brain dead fuc kwits

And no I have no respect for any of them, you earn respect, they have earnt scorn.

I doubt anything happened judging by how the cops did piss all and watched. I'm sure if they had of been imports doing it they would have handed out fines, demerits and defects.

There obviously missing a few brain cells going by the cars they drive, this just confirms it.

last time i heard, bogans don't need brain cells.

So if I had someone die in a gun fight I should grab myself an assault rife & start shooting @ random people at the funeral to pay respect for him... sounds awsome to me :whistling:

Drove past the venue on wednesday. The road looks like the burnout pad at willowbank raceway. I cant really find the words to describe the mentality behind it all.

As if the people doing burnouts really did it for the people who died. It's not a tribute, that's the front, it's just them using their dead friends as an excuse to do burnouts, whether they admit that or not. If it truly was a tribute with no ill intentions in mind they would have organised a special day to do it at an appropriate venue, instead of on the spot just because they felt like ripping skids.

Exactly a REAL tribute would have happened at venue and after they could have had a big party (not at the venue), Thats a tribute.

The owner of the funeral home should request the names of the offenders from the plods and take them to task on the repairs to the road.

You guys do realize that your over-used profanities are bringing you down to the level, right?

I struggle to take any opinion seriously when all they're saying is "...f**k...shit...f**kwits". It's even harder when you can't even spell your profanity right.

I'm not going to point people out, but Birds has demonstrated a very mature approach to expressing his thoughts as opposed to the various authors of other posts.

George; While comparing shooting people to burnouts is a bit of an extremity, I do feel that's what people do sometimes.

In response to the driveway; that is annoying. Get the boostcruisers out there cleaning it up imo.

As long as the people organizing the cleanup take a "Our mess our responsibility" approach with a mentality of "We don't want to disadvantage the funeral home after what they did for our mate", then it'll be a successful exercise.

Silvia GTR; Good point, I was just thinking in a 'then-and-there' frame of mind and didn't consider alternative locations.

I now know what I'm planning for my funeral... :)

Yay for Birds :D

If you knew me in real life, I do swear more than everyone in this thread combined lol. But I agree, in written text, using ridiculous revenge scenarios and excessive swearing comes across as an emotionally irrational response to a bad situation, i.e. no better than the boost guys.

Swearing in print makes you seem uneducated, but in person, its really about how you say it rather then what you say, but I try to avoid it in front of women.

Your of not entirely Australian descent are you Birds :P.

I don't like the Idea that the funeral home was put out, but honestly although a bit Ironic, if they had done it in a way as to not affect others I honestly wouldn't register an issue with it.

If one of my mates died, I would happily rip a skid in his honour, just somewhere more appropriate.

LOL, what world do you live in, the swearing in this thead is only another way of venting frustration at phuck wits, you must live in a world of flowers and princesses if this language is to blue for you.

The pardres at work swear more than the people have in the replys here.

"take 2 Viagra and a table spoon of cement and harden the phuck up"

Seriously

P.S spelling is like gramma, only usefull if your ghey.

I went to a Catholic primary school followed by Catholic high school (even though I was never Catholic; communism FTW!) which swearing is not allowed & we get in trouble for it.

However forward to my 1st day at University & everyone was swearing and no one cared.

I was like: "This is f**kING awsome!"

    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
