R33 Disk Rotor Help

hi guys and girls,

i am looking at buying a set of dba slotted rotors for my r33 gtst came across some brand new ones for a great price but then found out these are for a r32 gtst

has anyone used r32 rotors on a r33 ?

from what measurement Ive found its thickness and all is the same the diameter is 16mm smaller and the height is 0.3mm smaller

i dont think the height would make much difference being less than a mm

but im guessing my pads might hang over the edge of the disk which could cause some problems

Hi Johnny, we cannot use R32 rotors with R33 disks for the reasons you mentioned.

do they hang over a fair bit?

what problems would occur if the pad did over hang?

besides not wearing the pad in that certain spot?

The pads would overhang by 8mm. That means 8mm of disk pad isn't doing any braking, because it isn't in contact with the rotor.
