would a std gtr clutch handle 200rwkw+

Recommended Posts

why bother? in the long run you might have to pay for the labour twice?

if you know you're going to stop your mods at just over 200kw then get yourself a decent single plate. nismo coppermix or an ats carbon, or even try some of these exedy's.

otherwise, get yourself a decent twin plate.

For 200kw at the wheels you dont need to go to the expense of a twin plate clutch.

Something like the exeedy 6 puck heavy duty clutch would be more than ample for the sort of power you are talking.

GTR and GTS-T clutches are different.. one is push and one is pull type, so you basically can't chuck one into a GTS-T..

I think Exceedys are around $600 or so, but check around.

p.s. if you get in quick and nice to kylie :D you might be able to grab one in this group buy:

my point being if he was going for more power, ie significantly, or even 230rwkw you'd need to look at a twin plate...
