In all honestly, if I had realised that the Jamboree was on these dates, I wouldn't have entered the SAU Show 'n Shine.

Out of all the weekends, it was organised for the weekend of Drag Combat firstly, and then moved to the weekend of Jamboree...

Merli, we did pick the Drag combat weekend before drag combat moved to that date... so to keep the members happy, we moved the date to the 28th... then f#&kin Jamboree announced that they were going hold their bloody event on that weekend, this time we were too far into the processes to change the date again. So Jamboree now has to compete with SAU-NSW Show and Shine Day!!

Benm, you coming up on Sunday (baring hangover)

Nah looks like im now working Sunday (means I should be able to race next Wed at WSID). So i'll prob attend Jamboree on Saturday, then off to a 21st for the nite.

Merli are you going to be spectating or in your fancy yellow shirt running around on the track ?

YES.... - FOR THE RECORD ! !

We announced our original Show & Shine dates before both Drag Combat and Jamboree had announced theirs - by a long shot. So please don't blame us, for the bad planning - it was the other way around.

Anyway - you can still go to Jamboree on the Saturday if you like.

But if it anything like Drag Comabt, it will suck ass and Skylines Australia Show & Shine will be heaps better.

Any bathurst winning Gibson GTR's going to Jamboree ????? I don't think so..... :(

Motion to add: "Ability to forsee the future" to the list of pre-requisites for the office of SAU NSW Events Manager :)

benm: I'll just be spectating...

No but it is the first ever ANDRA sanctioned Sport Compact event in Australia and will include some of the fastest cars in this class in the whole country.

I second the motion, "Ability to forsee the future" to the list of pre-requisites for the office of SAU NSW Events Manager.

Jokes

S'n'S and the Jamboree will be great days. Good luck to all entering the former. UNLIKE Dragcombat, Jamboree has been going for 13 years and Ray actually has a clue on how to organise and event.

Adrian

well we see where your loyalties are ben... you bitch! :)

we already knew where yours were this time round adrian!!! :spank:

Have fun guys, I'll be at the show and shine... in case you hadn't worked that out... and hopefully the next events coordinator will have that 6th sense you talk of!

Catch ya!

Guest Da_Man

Benm, come and say hello, I should be around the pits (again) just look out for the car. (and keep your hands off the girls)...

That's to anyone that will be coming, make sure you say hello!

Yes you too Buster.

To the guys at the S'n'S we wont to see lots of pics, cause some of us have to stay home and hold up the skyline banner against the other cars.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
