R34 Antenna?

hey guys,

just put a dvd headunit in my gtt, just wondering why i can only pick up very very local radio stations?

is the antennas on gtts ineffective??

Using the stock one in mine and it seems to pick up most radio stations ok, although I dont listen to it much

mine was crap, until i pulled my backseat out and relised i had an antenna booster that wasnt plugged in, now its fine, but before that i could only pick up one radio station.

Yea, it's IN the rear window.

EDIT: OP do you have aftermarket tinted windows?

your rear demister is your antenna...

hmm maybe thats my problem chad, where abouts behind the seat is it?? i can only get the channel broadcasted about 20kms away.

ill look into ripping the back seats out again sigh hah.

Before you do, have you got your windows tinted recently, did this happen with your old headunit?

I haven't had the car longer then 3 months. There kind of dark but I wouldn't call them tinted.

The old unit was the stock jap one.
