Can you tell me if any work has been done on the brakes, and/or suspension?

I am interested. Just wanting to know what, if any, work has been doen to the brakes and suspension?

What part of Melbourne are you in?

Hey buddy.

Brakes are standard brakes, and it's got pedders suspension.

Apart from that, all the mods are listed at the top mate. Well worth it.

Located in the Northern Suburbs of melbourne.

I'm a girl! Sorry for any confusion. Can you tell me whether it is pedders springs and shocks? Thanks for the prompt reply.

I am looking for a better brake/suspension combo, but I can do both, as I have the parts, But if the car doesn't at least have pedders springs, it is outside of my budget, coz I will go Bilstein and GTS brake setup.

Cheers for the info.

Sorry for that. Yes, it is pedders heavy duty springs, very stiff.

Never went brake set up as it doesn't need it, otherwise you'd be flying out the windscreen.

mmm they do need it if your gonna do anything other than drift.

I am not interested in the hydraulic handbrake, how much without that setup? Bottom dollar cash, and I will come and pick it up this weekend.

Well you do realise the hydrolic handbrake only costs $200 with lines. So there isn't much i can deduct in the price. Mind you it's second hand now, so id be selling the hydrolic handbrake cheaper then $200. $3,000 is a steal.

How much did you think they sell for? I am negotiable on the price, you can buy the car as is, but at the moment you don't really seem genuine asking all these questions over forums when I have actually left a phone number to be contacted on.

Think what you like about whether I am genuine.

I was asking genuine questions in a public forum. I can't see what's wrong with that. It's where you have advertised it. It alos helps other people who may be looking at the thread.

No offence meant here either BTW. I really was just trying to get some extra info on the car.

I am still interested, but it's a bit out of my price range.

    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
    • Does that German restaurant still exist in the old place out the NW end of Goulburn? When I say "out the NW end of"...I am really being vague. It was 1997 when I was last there, and the only point of reference I can recall is that it was on the opposite side of the main drag from the big merino. And when I say "opposite side of the main drag", I don't mean "on the main drag". It was either a couple of streets back from there, or might have even been out in the sticks a bit further. Was an old farm building or mill or somesuch. And when I say "the big merino" I might actually be thinking of a completely different part of town, because I just looked on maps and the big bugger is not where I remembered him to be! The food was good, consisting largely of various German mystery-meat sausage/loaf things and kartofflen.
