To order please reply with the following filled in

1. Style

2. Back materail, ie F/G or Carbon, Glitter F/G

3. Materail Colour

4. Pick up Brisbane or Post (Use transdirect for OZ wide delivery quote)

I may have an option of purchasing additional rail mounts the sliders that come with the seats can bolt to.

Approx $210-230 pair. So they will be similar to the Bride seat mounts.

Some question and answers from first thread and fine print. PLEASE READ

1. You will need either make up brackets to use the rails supplied or buy Bride specific rails to suit the model seat you have purchased. The mounting bolt centers differ between different model seats

2. The fibreglass, carbon seats will be all approx the same weight, as the carbon options are just for show

3. Seats weights are approx 14-16kgs for recliners. fixed approx 12-14kg

4. Gias and Gais 2 are the same seat, but the Gias 2 has a revised updated adjusting knob (star opposed to triangle) which is a quick release to either adjust back or quick flip forward. The older Gias with triangle knob needs to be wound to adjust and there is a seperate bar at rear of seat to flip forward

5. Seat belt buckle fixes to the bride seat rails not the seats. Keep this in mind if you select fixed back bucket seats, as it hard to reach to fix seat belt plus the seat belt does not hold you in correctly. Fixed back seats are best used with harnesses and are not suitable (legal) in car the 2 doors and back seat fitted

6. Bare in mind the seats are copies and very close cosmetically to the orginals. All seats are not ADR approved and to be used at your own risk etc etc.

7. There is no warranty provided and quality and finish may differ to what you expect. I haVe received sample seats as per pic's provided, so make you own judgment. The quality was better than exspected.

8. Refer to the Bride site for mounting bolt centre and rail model selection.

9. Seats are moulded from originals, so shape and seating height will be same as originals

hey mate, wondering if you can get the gias seats in carbon/kevlar like the last buy?

either way, will be getting back to you shortly.

also, with shipping from brisbane, will you organise(have priced from your link), or do we?

as per website, will there be assistance to lift the package(35-60kg requires assistance or tail lift)?

thanks for doing another group buy!

Carbon and Kevlar backs are the same prices and available

I will check on red stiching options

I have tried to keep the options a little less this time, as it is hard work dealing with the seller in China and getting them to understand what you want.

I need to keep the cut off date to 3 weeks to allow enough time for manufacture and shipping and "delays", so that they arrive before xmas. I am away after xmas for a few weeks as well.

I will organise shipping form my end

No tail lift needed. Ignore that option

Please provide further information as required by the Group Buy standards:

At least 2 key points are being missed. I cannot find any details anywhere about Carontec, China.

Nor is ther RRP supplied.

Thanks.

As for RRP in Australia. Conisdering they are copies there is no real RRP and no Aust distributor.

All I can quote is going of ebay prices, Gias FRP sell for $900-1100 pair

I have seen Gias at Autobarn, Gold Coast at $870 EACH!!!!!!! so $1740 pair RRP

GB price is $670 pair

I know I will upset some people on this forum with pricing, but so be it.

I have read the attached rules. Maybe you can keep cercern people out of the thread tring to trash it. It happened in the last group buy. Cheers

Hope that satisfies any concerns.

Are you able to offer the Stradia? Its same as gias but heaps more comfy looking see pics below.

Can you get the Seat material in Black Suede?

Also, are you able provide his res pics of actual carbon & kevlar options that have arrived?

Very keen on a pair in either Carbon or Kevlar option.

Yes can get that model. They are the same price as the Gias. Will have to check to see if they come in the Gias ii recliner mech version.

Pretty sure they come in suede. It maybe slighty more $ for that material from memory.

I still have pair of carbons here from the last group buy that have not been picked up yet. Will take pics tomorrow.

Please do enquire about the suede option, and whether they can do the stradia in the updated Gias II Mech recliner.

Black suede, red stitching, bride gradation, kevlar back.

Do you know if the kevlar version looks like the copies ive posted below???

Sorry to be a bother again...

While your asking the supplier about suede etc

Can you ask about Alcantara or Ultrasuede please.

Been reading up on materials and found the above alternatives having same look and feel of Suede but are more durable, resistant to liquid, stains and crushing.

Also like the black option as per luke GTRs request above but still want the red stiching.

Ta

Lucky for you, you have 3 weeks in which to sell your body as much as possible for the rest of the money...

Don't worry, I'm trying to save like crazy.

lmao.....sounds like ill have a fun 3 weeks, anyone looking for service? the more you buy the cheaper it gets!!!!

might just sneak in at the end of the 3 weeks for this one

you can just use genuine bride rails with these yeh? and theyre just ready for the rail to bolt on and in you go?

Sorry, buy probably won't be able to participate in this group buy.

Spun big end, engine takes priority.

Will see how I go, but don't expect miracles.

    • That's probably OK. That's a face to face compression joint between two surfaces with the clamping load provided by those bolts. So.... it's unlikely that the bolts will end up feeling that load in shear, unless the clamping surfaces are not large enough, bolts not got enough tension on them, etc etc to prevent the two faces from moving wrt each other. Which... I would hope the designers have considered, seeing as it's probably one of the most important things the upright has to do apart from resist collapsing in its own right. But yes, it would definitely be worth asking them what their safety factor on that part of the design was. I tend to think that the casting, being a casting, is not necessarily the strongest bit of material in the world. It's about an inch square, and when you think about the loads that are being put into it, you have to wonder what safety factor the Nissan boys (and every other OEM engineer who has designed all the millions of other uprights that look essentially the same) used to account for defective casting, aging, severe impacts on the wheel, etc etc.
    • Those bolts would be orders of magnitude stronger that cast aluminium though.  And its mainly clamping force, not shear they are dealing with?
    • Except all that twisting force that is breaking a cast piece, appears to be going through 4 bolts in the picture Johnny posted of the BryPar one...
    • The smart approach is to use the gearbox loom from the manual car. Makes it a lot easier - just plugs into the switches on the box and plugs into the main loom up near the fusebox. Then you only need to deal with bypassing the inhibit switch. The other approach requires you to use the wiring diagram to identify those wires by colour and location, perhaps even indulging in a little multimeter action to trace them end to end to make sure, and then.... you will have the answers you need. The R34 wiring diagram is available on-line (no, I do not have a link to it myself - I would have to do a search if I wasn't able to go to the copy I have at home).
    • Hi, i’m converted my r34 4dr auto to manual but need help with gearbox wiring. There are bunch of wires no idea which one for speedo drive, neutral, reverse can anyone help me. IMG_6860.mov
