Radiator

hi i have a s1 stagea and am looking at having to get a new radiator.

so i would like to know if they are the same as r33/34 gtt or gtr?

i could get a after market 1 but not want 1 at the moment as i have other things to do.

so i ask because my mate is changing his r34 gtr 1 and might be able to grab his stock 1 for the moment

i think the r33gtr radiator did fit, there was a thread just before this somewhere asking the same question, try searching for it.

but in regards to the r34 radiator, i wouldnt know, i always thought they were thicker than the other skylines.

dont quote me on that tho.

you can also get them with the auto trans coolers still in them

about $200 from the ebay, mine is a koyorad branded one

ok i think its leaking at the top. i not shore but think its where the tank meets the core.

i am using my mates cap to see if it coming from there but i dont think it is

You can get the tank off and refitted. Cheaper than another rad

i think i was looking at $170 for a new top tank + rod the core and clean it out

my top tank was split under the filler hole

or get a brand new rad for $200ish (i went the hard way and wasted $350ish on a justjap alloy rad, it was leaking after 18 months)

haha yer i know all about the just jap stuf lol.

i was just looking at a old post from chucky and he got a koyorad looks just like a stock 1 but twice as thick so will give nat rad a call tomorow and see2
