Hey guys,

The oil dipstick tube in my 32GTR is weeping at the base where it meets the block and also weeping from the top because it has been crimped into a square for some reason by one of the previous owners.

Is the tube easily removed and replaced? Can it just be pried out from the bottom and the new one aligned and tapped in (with a block of wood or something at the top to stop it damaging it)?

Anyone know if they can be bought new and/or have one they are willing to palm off?

Cheers.

yaeh its not too hard to replace. . .ive used pliers on the tube and just wriggled and twisted it till it pulled out of the block whilst applying upwards pressure, bit harsh on the tube tho, had an engine once that had a "o" ring at the point where the dipstick tube meets the block, if you have one of those then you may only have too change that
