Boot Pressure Cylinder

Hi guys.

I just bought a skyline r34 GTT. I'm loving it every single moment with it but except one thing.

The boot pressure cylinders are quite weak so they can't hold onto the weight of the boot with spoiler. It keeps on falling down

and it's a bit dangerous to let it happen all the time.

Did anyone have this problem before? How should I fix this? Suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

Couple of options:

1. Get an axe handle to wedge under the boot lid while it is open.

2. Get the units repaired / re-gassed.

or see if there are any part numbers on them and go into your local auto parts store and see if they can get replacements
