How about any time after 5pm at smoothe? How will we know which table, someone hang a Skylines Oz t-shirt over the back of a chair? Or pick like a corner of the outside area to sit at. I'm not sure how busy it is at that time.

So who is it:

so does Friday, 5pm onwards sound good? Maybe 5:30pm?

Maybe good to try this again...

Was good to meet you Gohan :(

Horus & Oyabun also popped in for a coffee.

The weather was awful - but maybe some more numbers next time.

I can't this Friday... maybe a lunchtime?

Boys....i was down there at 6...i didnt see anyone except a few table full of people which i imagined were not the SAU boys....so i went up to see if CREATION was still parked on the 4th floor....and he wasnt...so i left thinking no one showed up...

James and Gohan, Horus and Oyabun, i am really sorry i missed you guys...i was looking forward to meeting all of you...but i have no idea what you guys look like...

i am up for another time for lunch or after work drinks, but how am i gonna recognise you guys??

  • 2 weeks later...

Yeah, great to meet you too James. Sorry to leave ya there for a bit, but my 30min break stretched to 1 hour, didn't wanna push it any longer :) At least a few other blokes rocked up.

Sorry i haven't replied to ur PM yet Jetdat. I went down to Smoothe round 6'ish, then gave James a sms, and it ended up being about 6:30pm. We were inside cos it was shit cold, and there were 2 guys standing around outside, so i went out and asked if they were waiting for anyone and they looked at me strangely and said "Jenny" or something :( whoops!

Yeah we need a meeting point next time. That's why i thought we should pick a corner of Smoothe. Maybe meet at the ATM next time, just look for people not making a transaction at it, just standing next to it. Anyways, my ANZ email id is 'chind' so if we organise another one, maybe us ANZ'ers can hook up first then go down. Also i have a RED neck thing attached to my security card, but i leave it hanging out of the back pocket of my Jeans for easy access. So if u see some dude standing around with a red cord hanging out the back pocket, that be me! :( I always wear jeans on Friday as well.

Maybe lunch next time?

EDIT: jeans and colorado shoes, a given on a friday ;) colorado shoes are those suede ones, the yellowy ones. So colorado's, jeans, red cord, that be me :D

    • The question then becomes - was there any fluid coming from that hole before you did the rebuild ?    You may not have noticed, of course.   Depending on how you did the rebuild, the possibility has to be considered that somehow (cleaning ?)  fluid entered that hole and is now being 'forced'  out by small movements of the proportioning valve.   From the factory, there's actually a small rubber plug in that hole but with age and under-bonnet heat it's quite common for it to 'go missing'.  That rubber plug is designed to allow the venting process but also to prevent 'stuff' getting to the area (prevent corrosion, etc).   The plug is also not available as a spare part AFAIA. Personally I wouldn't race and buy a new master just yet but keep an eye on the area to see if the 'leak' continues.   If you're concerned about brake fluid damaging nearby paintwork, cable tie a piece of suitable absorbant material over the hole and remove/monitor occasionally.    Operation of the proportioning valve and the brake master itself won't be affected, but also keep an eye on brake fluid level, of course. In terms of a new master, the genuine part is getting expensive, unfortunately.  Amayama is showing AUD900+.   I was searching recently and there's an aftermarket part available from Japan made by 'Parts Assist': https://zenmarket.jp/en/yahoo.aspx?q=BNR32%2bBM50&p=1 Whether it's any good I have no idea, although in my experience Japanese aftermarket stuff is pretty good quality-wise.   The above site allows overseas buyers to purchase stuff more easily from Japan but there are fees and shipping costs, of course.   The original Japanese seller page is here: https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p1197401228 Copper/Nickel is fine but I still prefer bundy tube and it's also cheaper.
