DoughBoy
Get REALLY good tyres and save your 'power-up' money for when you're maximising the power you already have. Naw, get as much power as you can and then fry someone else's tyres Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/38247-sau-14-mile-times-v2/page/11/#findComment-868212 Share on other sites

Revhead
Matt, what were you racing? Whatever it was, it launched HARD Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/38247-sau-14-mile-times-v2/page/11/#findComment-894484 Share on other sites
whatsisname
From memory Marc, it was an old school Holden Sedan (HZ vintage maybe?). You know, the usual slicks, big stall convertor and so on. As you can tell by the RT he's probably had the odd drag before too. As you can tell from my RT I usually don't care about racing the 'other guy'. I think I'm holding the taller gears too long as my 660ft MPH is higher than others that get higher trap MPH. I know I should change earlier as my peak power and torque is well before 7000+rpm. I tend to carried away me thinks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/38247-sau-14-mile-times-v2/page/11/#findComment-894797 Share on other sites
benm
Updated ! Matt: What rpm do you change your gears at ? With a slightly better launch you have a 12 flat begging Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/38247-sau-14-mile-times-v2/page/11/#findComment-894830 Share on other sites
