For sale - one of a kind R33 GTS-T (auto) - plenty of go fast bits.

Bargain price for quick sale - $4500 (needs a front bar). I can put 3 months ACT rego on it if required.

Ph: 0434 994 378

A bit of history on the car - I bought this R33 for my wife just under a year ago - paid $12,500 (she really liked the custom look of the rear guards).

A few months later she ran up the back of some clown that was giving way to an invisible car at a roundabout. The R33 only sustained minor damage (cracked front bar, cracked headlight, possible minor radiator damage and a slight kink in the bonnet). The wife went out and bought another car so no longer wants the skyline.

I have since bought new headlights (with HID kit fitted) and a second hand radiator but haven't got around to start work on it (still needs a front bar - I think the bonnet is ok or it may need slight bang work to get the kink out).

My original plan was to fix it up and fit a nitrous kit to have fun at the drags. Due to changing priorities and my yard starting to look like Sam's Hot Car Lot (R33GTR, XB GT Falcon, Magna VRX AWD, Ford Laser, R33 GTS-T, Harley), I've decided to get the car out of my yard.

I thought I would give the locals first dibs at it with a good price. Below is the original advertisement when we bought the car. I can't be certain it has everything the ad claims but I can lay claim that the car is quick - would light the rears up no problem on take off (Auto). It does have a stack of receipts for work done on the car which I can provide.

Here's the original add -

I'll be keen on the pump turbo and injectors if you end up parting it :) keep it in mind for me

sorry mate - I'm not interested in turning my yard into a wrecking yard - I want the car gone from my yard.

You can buy it complete, source all the performance parts you wish for your skyline (has everything you will need to get you over the 250rwkw that you are chasing) and part the rest - there's plenty of money to be made there if you can be bothered wrecking it.

Congrats mate

Whats the person doing with it??

Scrapping for parts or purchased for their daughter etc?

thanks mate. The car will be back on Canberra roads cruising around real soon - he's fixing it up for his wife.

    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
