hks have put a video up of their latest gt1000 kit (1000ps)

it was only a matter of time, as hks have been on a steady power climb since the original 570 kit

i do applaud them for the continual and extensive r&d, and im sure itll be reflective in the price of the kit....... which google wont find yet

check out the 4 additional injectors on the new plenum

motorcycles have extra injectors behind the velocity stacks.....a good friend of mine makes tune box's for them and on a 600cc has seen huge gains in power from totally phasing out the front injectors at high rpm and cranking open the rear ones instead.....motorcycle manufactures have always been at the fore front of extracting huge amounts of power by innovative technology

You can make PLENTY of power from an R35 GTR engine with 6 x 2000cc injectors and the right fuel system in the stock injector position. HKS are probably making up for the lack of the piggyback computer they use being able to control a decent sized injector. Additional injectors were cool back in the VL days.....

    • I'm not normally one for posting random videos, but I thought we'd all appreciate the honesty about how broken our cars tend to be lol. Genuine skyline life here.
    • New CAS just turned up from NZ Wiring. Looks like a nice bit of gear.  So, yeah. Triggered, bro. Realised I may as well do the cam belt while mucking about with it so will order one of them.
    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
