1998 Skyline R34 GT-t

120,000km

$19,500

Cherybrook, NSW

I bought this car over 3 years ago from its first Australian owner. It has always been a second car to me and always garaged, rarely driven during the week.

The car is in great condition considering its age and has always been well looked after. Regular servicing (including timing belt and water pump) have been performed by Tassel Automotive (Nissan and Datsunspecialist in castle hill).

I am selling the car as I recently started my own business and it is time to upgrade my work vehicle. I am in no rush to sell, the right buyer will come along, so don't bother lowballing me as I will just walk away.

Negatives

· The passenger side rims both have gutter rash.

· Small paint peel on rear bumper caused by highpressure cleaner at car wash.

· Slight noise from low pressure power steeringhose (only when engine is cold). Mechanic is unable to find leak at this pointbut will look again at next service, is not causing any problems, not even losing any fluids.

These things will most likely be fixed before car is sold,if not there will be room for negotiation with potential buyer.

Now the good stuff

Cosmetics

· Z-tune style front bumper

· Vspec II front diffuser

· Nismo side skirt and rear pod add-ons

· Nismo Dark clear front indicator lens

· Nismo Dark clear side indicator lens

· 18x8.5 rota grid front & 18x9.5 rota griddrift rear

· Also have replica GTR spoiler (unpainted) withcarbon fibre blade, that will go with sale

Suspension and Braking

· Tein MONO Flex coilovers

· DBA 4000 series front rotors

· Bendix ultimate pads front and rear (near new)

· Nismo Brake Line

Exhaust

· Apexi GT Spec. Front Pipe

· Kakimoto Regu.06&R Cat Back Exhaust

· HKS Split Dump Pipe

Engine and tuning

· Apexi Power Intake

· Split Fire Ignition Coil packs

· NGK Iridium Spark Plug

· Cooling Pro Stealth FMIC

· Turbotech Boost controller

· GFB bov

· Nistune chip installed and tuned by Mark at MRCdyno in castle hill

Add-ins

· Standard exhaust

· Standard suspension

· Standard cooler and shroud

· Standard bov

· Standard airbox

· GTR Replica wing with carbon blade.

Car is currently tuned at 203.5 kw atw. This is a safe and very responsive tune with more than enough power for the street.

Will be sad to see this car go and hope it brings as muchjoy to the new owner as it has me.

    • I’m not sure what happened I told them about sonic tunes free OTS tune and the next the I know .. I was booted..   To funny
    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
